 1) SUBMIT TWO SETS OF ENERGY CODE COMPLIANCE FORMS THAT
 HAVE THE SIGNATURES OF THE PREPARER AND THE

 2) THERE ARE SEVERAL ERRORS ON SHEET 2 OF THE PLANS.
 THERE IS A WALL SECTION MARKER (1 ON 5) SHOWN IN THE
 OPEN AREA IN THE GARAGE. THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION IS
 V-B AND THE OCCUPANCY TYPE IS R-3, SINGLE FAMILY
 DWELLING. FBC 310.5
  
 3) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-R311.7.8 FOR REQUIRED
 HANDRAILS AND FBC-R311.7.8.1 FOR HANDRAIL HEIGHT.
  
 4) SPECIFY THE REQUIRED LIVE LOADS FOR THE DWELLING AND
 BALCONY FLOORS AND THE STAIRS ON THE PLANS. FBC R301.5
  
 5) NONE OF THE WINDOWS ON THE SECOND FLOOR MEET THE
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE REQUIREMENTS OF FBC-R310
 FOR SLEEPING ROOMS. THE STORAGE AREA CAN NOT BE USED
 FOR SLEEPING UNLESS THERE IS A WINDOW THAT COMPLIES
 WITH FBC-R310.
  
 6) PROVIDE CALCULATIONS TO VERIFY THAT THE (2) 2 X 12
 BEAM SPANNING 15 FEET CAN SUPPORT THE 40 PSF LIVE LOAD
 AND DEAD LOAD OF THE BALCONY. FBC 107.2.1.3
  
 7) THE SECOND FLOOR OF THIS STRUCTURE IS CONDITIONED
 SPACE. THE FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY ABOVE THE GARAGE IS
 REQUIRED TO HAVE THERMAL INSULATION. FBC ENERGY
 CONSERVATION R402.1
  
 8) THE SECOND FLOOR DWELLING AREA IS REQUIRED TO BE
 SEPARATED FROM THE GARAGE BY 5/8" TYPE X DRYWALL OR
 EQUIVALENT PER FBC-R302.6 AND TABLE 302.6.
  
 9) FBC-R302.5 REQUIRES OPENINGS IN THE GARAGE CEILING
 TO BE PROTECTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBC-R302.11(4).
  
 10) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WITH FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE
 DIFFERENT RIDGE OR ROOF VENT, THE SIDING AND THE
 ALUMINUM SOFFIT MATERIAL.
  
 11) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL THAT WAS SUBMITTED IS FOR A
 DOUBLE OUTSWING DOOR AND THE PLANS SPECIFY A SINGLE
 OUTSWING DOOR. THE MAXIMUM NEGATIVE DESIGN PRESSURE FOR
 THE DOOR (-50 PSF) IS NOT ADEQUATE FOR THE DOOR LOCATED
 ON THE FIRST FLOOR IN EDGE ZONE 5, WHICH REQUIRES -54.8
 PSF. SUBMIT CORRECT PRODUCT APPROVALS. FBC-R301.2.1
  
 12) SUBMIT TWO SETS OF SURFACE WATER DRAINAGE PLANS
 THAT SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-R401.3.
  
 13) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
