 PLANS SUBMITED HAVE THE PBC STAMP (MU-2016-16556). BUT
 SUBMITTAL IS MISSING THE COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT.

 CALCULATIONS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FORM AS REQUIRED BY

 RESPONSE:
 USE OF EXISTING HISTORIC ENTRY DOOR WAS APPROVED BY
 ROBERT BROWN (BUILDING OFFICIAL). THE DOOR STILL NEEDS
 TO COMPLY WITH THE PRODUCT APPROVAL REQUIREMENT. THIS
 MAY BE ACCOMPLISHED BY APPLYING FOR ONE TIME LOCAL
 PRODUCT APPROVAL. PROVIDE COMPLETE ENGINEERING ANALYSIS
 FOR LOCAL PRODUCT APPROVAL TO BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED
 BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. PLEASE CONTACT ROBERT BROWN

 ARCHITECTURAL PLANS). NEED TO SELECT ASSEMBLY WITH
 RIGID INSULATION AS SPECIFIED BY THE ARCHITECT. NOTE:
 IF THE SELECTED ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MEET THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES FOR ALL ROOF ZONES, THEN SIGNED AND SEALED
 RAS 117 CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED BY GENERAL LIMITATION

 CURRENT NOA.
 (2) ROOF TILE ADHESIVE RTA-1 IS NOT LISTED ON THE ROOF
 TILE NOA SUBMITTED. THIS ADHESIVE NEEDS TO BE LISTED ON
 THE ROOF TILE OR COMPLETE PROVIDE COMPLETE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL INFORMATION AND APPLY FOR LOCAL PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR PROPOSED INSTALLATION. LOCAL PRODUCT
 APPROVAL TO BE APPROVED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.

 4- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMPONENTS AND CLADDING DESIGN
 PRESSURES.
 RESPONSE:
 THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER OF RECORD IS THE ONE THAT NEEDS
 TO APPROVE THE PRODUCT APPROVALS. PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE
 FOR COMPONENTS AND CLADDING. THAT'S WHY THE STRUCTURAL
 ENGINEER NEEDS TO APPROVE THEM. NOTE: ENGINEER TO
 PROVIDE REVIEW STAMP ON EACH PRODUCT APPROVAL OR TO
 PROVIDE LETTER THAT CLEARLY IDENTIFY EACH PRODUCT
 APPROVAL (NOA OR FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBER,
 MODEL, ETC,) REVIEW LETTER SUBMITTED BY THE ARCHITECT
 IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BECAUSE IS TOO GENERAL. THERE IS NO
 WAY OF REFERENCING WHICH SPECIFIC PRODUCT APPROVALS
 WERE APPROVED.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 5- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO SPECIFY ROOF TILE FASTENING AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.2.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS. IF
 SPECIFYING SCREWS, THEN SPECIFY SIZE AND NUMBER OF
 SCREWS. IF SPECIFYING ADHESIVE, THEN ADHESIVE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL IS REQUIRED. (NOTE: DESIGNER OF RECORD TO
 SPECIFY THE MINIMUM ATTACHMENT RESISTANCE REQUIRED FOR
 THIS BUILDING. SEE NOA 14-0605.03 SUBMITTED FOR
 REFERENCE).
 RESPONSE:
 DESIGNER OF RECORD IS REQUIRED TO SPECIFY SPECIFIC
 FASTENING OPTION. THE PRODUCT APPROVAL IS TO VERIFY
 THAT IT MEETS THE DESIGNER OF RECORD SPECIFICATIONS.
 RESPONSE LETTER STATING "SEE ATTACHED NOA" DOESN'T
 ADDRESS THIS REQUIREMENT.
  
 6- NEW GEOTECHNICAL REPORT SUBMITTED (2 COPIES) NEEDS
 TO HAVE THE ENGINEER'S ORIGINAL SEAL AND SIGNATURE AS
 REQUIRED BY CHAPTER 471 FLORIDA STATUTE.

 RICK GONZALEZ AND JULIO GOMEZ. I EXPECT THAT YOU GOT
 FEEDBACK FROM THEM. IN CASE YOU DID NOT, PLEASE NOTE
 THAT I TOLD THEM THAT USING THE ORIGINAL DOOR IS OK
 PROVIDED THERE IS AT LEAST ONE OTHER SWING DOOR THAT
 CAN BE USED TO EXIT THE PROPERTY, WITHOUT GOING THROUGH
 A GARAGE. OF COURSE, THAT DOOR MUST MEET THE MINIMUM
 WIDTH REQUIREMENT.
