 1) 2ND REQUEST FOR WHAT AREA OF WORK IS TO BE COVERED
 UNDER THIS PERMIT. THE PLANS DO INDICATE A 3 HOUR FIRE
 WALL ON THE PLANS IN ONE AREA AND ONLY A 2 HOUR FIRE
 WALL IN ANOTHER AREA. THE SHEET ALS1.1 DO NOT INDICATE
 WHAT OCCUPANCIES ARE BEING SEPARATED BY THESE FIRE
 WALLS. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE 2014 FBC ?B TABLE 706.4
 DOES HAVE THE FOOT NOTE (A) THAT ALLOWS FOR THE
 REDUCTION OF 2 HOURS FOR THE OCCUPANCIES COVERED UNDER
 THE FOOTNOTE (A) BUT IF THE AREA ON THE OTHER SIDE OF
 THE FIREWALL IS A S1 OCCUPANCY MOTOR VEHICLE REPAIR
 GARAGE, THEN THERE IS NO REDUCTION IN THE RATING OF THE
 FIRE WALL, PLEASE REVIEW THE 2012 IBC-B TABLE 704.5 AND
 CODE COMMENTARY. PLEASE PROVIDE A NARRATIVE AS TO THE
 AREAS TO BE INCLUDED UNDER THE TYPE VB SPRINKLERED
 CONSTRUCTION.

 PLANS INDICATE THIS IS A 2 STORY BUILDING AND TAKING
 300 % ON AREA INCREASES. THE 300% AREA INCREASES CAN
 ONLY BE TAKEN ON SINGLE STORY BUILDINGS, FOR
 MULTI-STORY BUILDINGS ONLY 200 % INCREASE CAN BE TAKEN
 FOR AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLERS. PLEASE REVIEW THE 2012
 IBC-B CODE COMMENTARY FOR SECTION 506.3. PLEASE ALSO

 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS

 PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE
 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR
