 EQUIPMENT SCHEDULE INDICATES THE REPLACEMENT OF (4)
 UNITS. THERE IS NO INFORMATION IF THERE IS AN EXISITNG
 ROOFTOP STAND, IF IT IS BEING REUSED. NOR IS THERE
 INFORMATION ON THE ANCHORING OF THE A/C CONDENSOR
 UNITS?
 ON THE M1 SHEET I CAN NOT LOCATE WHERE THE (4) TH A/C
 SYSTEM & CONDNSOR IS TO BE LOCATED?
  
 9A) FOR ALL ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT, CURBS OR A/C STANDS,
 DETAILED ATTACHMENT TO THE ROOF FRAMING & DECK AS WELL
 AS FROM THE CURB OR ROOF STAND TO THE EQUIPMENT ABOVE.
 2014 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
 LOADS?
  
 9B) 2014 FBC-M- 301.15 WIND RESISTANCE. MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES AND SUPPORTS THAT ARE EXPOSED TO
 WIND SHALL BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED TO RESIST THE WIND
 PRESSURES DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 9C) 2014 FBC-B 1509.6.4 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON
 ROOFS OR ELEVATED STRUCTURES. WHERE EQUIPMENT AND
 APPLIANCES REQUIRING ACCESS ARE INSTALLED ON ROOFS OR
 ELEVATED STRUCTURES AT A HEIGHT EXCEEDING 16 FEET (4877
 MM), SUCH ACCESS SHALL BE PROVIDED BY A PERMANENT
 APPROVED MEANS OF ACCESS, THE EXTENT OF WHICH SHALL BE
 FROM GRADE OR FLOOR LEVEL TO THE EQUIPMENT AND
 APPLIANCES? LEVEL SERVICE SPACE. SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT
 REQUIRE CLIMBING OVER OBSTRUCTIONS GREATER THAN 30
 INCHES (762 MM) HIGH OR WALKING ON ROOFS HAVING A SLOPE
 GREATER THAN 4 UNITS VERTICAL IN 12 UNITS HORIZONTAL
 (33-PERCENT SLOPE). PERMANENT LADDERS INSTALLED TO
 PROVIDE THE REQUIRED.
  
 9D) 2014 FBC-B 1013.7 ROOF ACCESS. GUARDS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WHERE THE ROOF HATCH OPENING IS LOCATED WITHIN
 10 FEET (3048 MM) OF A ROOF EDGE OR OPEN SIDE OF A
 WALKING SURFACE AND SUCH EDGE OR OPEN SIDE IS LOCATED
 MORE THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) ABOVE THE FLOOR, ROOF OR
 GRADE BELOW. THE GUARD SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED SO AS TO
 PREVENT THE PASSAGE OF A SPHERE 21 INCHES (533 MM) IN
 DIAMETER.
  
 10) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
