 STATEWIDE ON JUNE 30/ 2015. PLEASE REVIEW PLANS AND
 UPDATE THE PLANS TO THE CURRENT CODE.
  
 1B) THIS IS AN EXISITNG BUILDING, PLEASE IDENTIFY FROM
 THE 2014 EXISITNG BLDG. CODE WHAT METHOD THE PLANS WERE
 DEVELOPED?
 2014 EXISTING BLDG. CODE 301.1 THE REPAIR, ALTERATION,
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY, ADDITION OR RELOCATION OF ALL
 EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE METHODS
 LISTED IN SECTIONS 301.1.1 THROUGH 301.1.3 AS SELECTED
 BY THE APPLICANT. APPLICATION OF A METHOD SHALL BE THE
 SOLE BASIS FOR ASSESSING THE COMPLIANCE OF WORK
 PERFORMED UNDER A SINGLE PERMIT UNLESS OTHERWISE
 APPROVED BY THE CODE OFFICIAL.
  
 2) MISSING INFORMATION FOR THE BASIC PLAN REVIEW. 2014

 107.3.5 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR BUILDINGS.
 107.3.5.1.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:

 OCCUPANCY LOAD/EGRESS REQUIREMENTS SHALL INCLUDE:

 3) SHEET A-1. IT APPEARS THERE IS A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY
 AND A ACCESSORY STORAGE COMPONENT. THE COMMON PATH OF
 TRAVEL IS EXCEEDED. TABLE 1014.3 ALLOWS COMMON PATH OF
 TRAVEL OF 75 FEET WITH AN OCCUPANT LOAD GREATER THAN 30
 IN A NON-SPRINKLERED BUILDING. THE STORAGE COMPONENT OF
 THE OCCUPANCY IS LESS THAN 10% OF THE FLOOR PLATE
 (INCLUDING THE 101 SQ. FT. ON THE MEZZANINE LEVE)
 MAKING THE STORAGE ANCILLARY TO THE MAIN OCCUPANCY AND
 NOT A MIXED OCCUPANCY. THE ISSUE IS SECOND MEANS OF
 EGRESS THROUGH THE STORAGE COMPONENT AND IS NOT
 ALLOWED. FBC-B 1014.2(4) EGRESS SHALL NOT PASS THROUGH
 STORAGE ROOMS, CLOSETS OR SPACES USED FOR SIMILAR
 PURPOSES. A NEW SECOND EGRESS WILL NEED TO BE PROVIDED
 NOT THROUGH THE WAREHOUSE AREA.
  
 4) PLEASE PROVIDE A SURVEY FOR THIS BUILDING SINCE BOTH
 THE FRONT DOOR AND REAR DOORS SWING OUT. 2014 FBC-B
 3202.2 ENCROACHMENTS ABOVE GRADE AND BELOW 8 FEET IN
 HEIGHT. ENCROACHMENTS INTO THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
 ABOVE GRADE AND BELOW 8 FEET (2438 MM) IN HEIGHT SHALL
 BE PROHIBITED EXCEPT AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTIONS
 3202.2.1 THROUGH 3202.2.3. DOORS AND WINDOWS SHALL NOT
 OPEN OR PROJECT INTO THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY.
  
  
 5) SHEET A1 INDICATES A RAMP BUT THE CHANGE IN
 ELEVATION IS NOT GIVEN. PLEASE PROVIDE THE CHANGE OF
 GRADE AS WELL AS THE LENGTH OF THE RAMP. FBC-B 1010.9
 HANDRAILS. RAMPS WITH A RISE GREATER THAN 6 INCHES (152
 MM) SHALL HAVE HANDRAILS ON BOTH SIDES. HANDRAILS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 1012.
  
 6) SHEET D-1 SHOWS NEW OPENINGS INTHE EXTERIOR WALL,
 COLUMNS BEING REMOVED FOR THE NEW OVERHEAD DOOR, THERE
 ARE NO STRUCTURAL PLANS INDICATING HOW THE STRUCTURAL
 INTEGRATY OF THE BUILDING IS TO BE MAINTAINED. PART OF
 THE MWFRS (MAIN WIND FORCE RESISTING SYSTEM) IS BEING
 REMOVED?

 PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE.
  
 8) 107.3.4.1 THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA
 RULE 9N-3 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
