 PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO THE COMMENTS. PLEASE NOTE
 THAT THE SUBMITTAL OF THE REQUIRED ITEMS MAY RESULT IN
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS.
  
 1) REPEAT COMMENT: THE PERMIT PACKAGE INCLUDES A
 PROPOSED SITE PLAN THAT RECONFIGURES THE EXISTING
 PARKING LOT. THE PARKING LOT WORK REQUIRES PARKING LOT
 PERMIT, WHICH SHALL BE SUBMITTED, WITH PLANS, TO THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO ZONING APPROVAL OF THIS
 BUILDING PERMIT - NO PERMIT CURRENTLY SUBMITTED. PLEASE
 NOTE THAT THE CITY HAS NO PERMIT RECORD OF THE REMOVAL
 OF THE WALL AND THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE TWO
 PROPERTIES, THUS IT APPEARS THAT THIS WAS DONE WITHOUT
 A PERMIT. A PERMIT FOR THIS WORK SHALL ALSO BE
 SUBMITTED, OR INCLUDED WITH THE PARKING LOT PERMIT.
  
 2) PRIOR TO THE FINAL (104) INSPECTION, THE PARKING
 SHALL BE RESTRIPED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY CODE
 REQUIREMENTS AND THE DUMPSTER SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN
 AN ENCLOSURE. BOTH THE STRIPING AND DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE
 REQUIRE BUILDING PERMITS.
  
 3) REVISED COMMENT: THE DEMOLITION PLAN AND THE
 PROPOSED SITE PLAN DO NOT SHOW ACCURATE EXISTING AND
 PROPOSED CONDITIONS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE BUILDING
 WHERE THE ELECTRIC METER AND OTHER EQUIPMENT ARE. THE
 PLANS SHOW THESE AREAS AS LANDSCAPING; HOWEVER, THE
 ACTUAL EQUIPMENT IS ALMOST THE FULL DEPTH OF THE CURBED
 AREA AND SITS ON TWO CONCRETE PADS (SHOWN ON THE
 SURVEY) WHICH LEAVES NO SPACE FOR FOUNDATION PLANTING.
 THIS AREA SHALL NOT BE LABELED AS EXISTING OR FUTURE
 FOUNDATION PLANTING AREA. THE NEW PLANS DO PROVIDE MORE
 FOUNDATION PLANTING THAN WAS REMOVED. 42 SF REMOVED -
 80 SF INSTALLED.
  
 4) REVISED COMMENT: THE EXISTING SITE PLAN INCORRECTLY
 SHOWS THE AREA OF EXISTING BUFFER LANDSCAPE ALONG THE
 NORTH PROPERTY LINE. THE BUFFER EXTENDS TO THE SHED
 (SURVEY AND SITE CONDITION). THE EXISTING AND PROPOSED
 SITE PLANS INCORRECTLY SHOW THE AREA WHERE THE ELECTRIC
 METER AND OTHER EQUIPMENT ARE LOCATED AS LANDSCAPE
 AREA. THE PLANS SHALL REFLECT ACCURATE CONDITIONS. THE
 NEW PLANS DO PROVIDE MORE SITE LANDSCAPE THAN WAS
 REMOVED. 53 SF REMOVED - 80 SF INSTALLED.
  
 5) THE BUILDING RENOVATION ITSELF COMPLIES WITH ZONING.
  
 6) SEPARATE PERMITS, WITH PLANS, ARE REQUIRED FOR:
  
 A. PARKING LOT
 B. LANDSCAPE
 C. IRRIGATION
 D. DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE
 E. AWNINGS
