 PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO THE COMMENTS. PLEASE NOTE
 THAT THE SUBMITTAL OF THE REQUIRED ITEMS MAY RESULT IN
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS.
  
 1) PROVIDE TWO COPIES OF A SURVEY, LESS THAN ONE YEAR
 OLD, WHICH SHOWS ALL IMPROVEMENTS, DIMENSIONS FROM
 PROPERTY LINES AND EASEMENTS.
  
 2) THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE TWO BUILDINGS EXTENDS
 INTO THE REQUIRED FIVE (5) FOOT SIDE SETBACK, WHICH IS
 NOT PERMITTED. IN ORDER TO CONNECT THE TWO BUILDINGS, A
 RECORDED UNITY OF TITLE IS REQUIRED TO REMOVE THE
 REQUIRED SETBACK ALONG WHAT IS CURRENTLY THE SHARED
 PROPERTY LINE. PLEASE CONTACT VINCE NOEL, CITY
 SURVEYOR, AT (561) 494-1096 TO BEGIN THE CITY'S UNITY
 OF TITLE APPLICATION PROCESS.
  
 3) THE PERMIT PACKAGE INCLUDES A PROPOSED SITE PLAN
 THAT RECONFIGURES THE EXISTING PARKING LOT AND JOINS IT
 WITH THE PARKING LOT TO THE NORTH. THE PROPOSED PLAN
 INCLUDES THE REMOVAL OF THE ADA PARKING SPACE AND THE
 DUMPSTER THAT ARE SHOWN ON THE EXISTING PLAN FOR THE
 PROPERTY AT 1522 N. DIXIE HIGHWAY. THIS CREATES A
 DEFICIENCY OF ONE (1) PARKING SPACE FOR THE USE. IN
 ORDER TO VERIFY THAT THE NEW ENLARGED PARKING LOT HAS
 SUFFICIENT PARKING TO ACCOMMODATE BOTH THIS BUILDING
 AND THE BUILDING TO THE NORTH, A PARKING LOT PERMIT,
 WITH PLANS, SHALL BE SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW PRIOR TO
 STAFF'S APPROVAL OF THIS BUILDING PERMIT.
  
 4) PRIOR TO THE FINAL (104) INSPECTION, THE PARKING
 SHALL BE RESTRIPED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY CODE
 REQUIREMENTS AND THE DUMPSTER SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN
 AN ENCLOSURE. BOTH THE STRIPING AND DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE
 REQUIRE BUILDING PERMITS. THIS MAY BE DONE EITHER IN
 THE STAND ALONE CURRENT CONFIGURATION OR THE PROPOSED
 SITE PLAN. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CONDITIONS SHOWN ON THE
 PROPOSED SITE PLAN DO NOT MATCH THE PROPOSED NEW
 DOORWAY ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE BUILDING SHOWN ON THE
 PROPOSED FLOOR PLANS.
  
 5) THE DEMOLITION PLAN SHOWS THE PLANTER WITH EXISTING
 FOUNDATION LANDSCAPE PLANTING BEING REMOVED. SINCE THE
 BUILDING IS CURRENTLY DEFICIENT IN THE AMOUNT OF
 REQUIRED FOUNDATION LANDSCAPE PLANTING, IT MAY NOT BE
 REMOVED UNLESS THE SAME, OR MORE, FOUNDATION LANDSCAPE
 PLANTING IS REPLACED. THE REPLACEMENT FOUNDATION
 LANDSCAPE, WITH SQUARE FOOTAGE VERIFICATION, SHALL BE
 CLEARLY SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
  
 6) STAFF SUGGESTS REVIEWING THE OPTION OF REMOVING THE
 POWER POLES AND BURYING THE UTILITY LINES AS THIS WILL
 IMPROVE THE AESTHETICS OF THE SITE. IT APPEARS EACH
 POLE ONLY SERVES ONE OF THE BUILDINGS. ANOTHER OPTION
 MAY BE TO CONSOLIDATE THE SERVICES ON ONE POLE.
  
 7) SEPARATE PERMITS, WITH PLANS, ARE REQUIRED FOR:
  
 A. PARKING LOT
 B. LANDSCAPE
 C. IRRIGATION
 D. DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE
 E. AWNINGS
