 OCCUPANCY FROM A LOUNGE A2 TO A B OCCUPANCY/ AMBULATORY
 CARE FACILITY.
 2014 EXIST. BLDG. CODE SECTION 1004 FIRE PROTECTION.
 1004.1. FIRE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 1012
 SHALL APPLY WHERE A BUILDING OR PORTIONS THEREOF
 UNDERGO A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION.
  
 2014 EXISTING BLDG CODE. 1012.1.1 COMPLIANCE WITH
 CHAPTER 9. THE REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 9 SHALL BE
 APPLICABLE THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING FOR THE NEW
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION BASED ON THE SEPARATION
 CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN SECTIONS 1012.1.1.1 AND
 1012.1.1.2.
  
 2014 EXISTING BLDG CODE. 1012.2.1 FIRE SPRINKLER
 SYSTEM. WHERE A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION
 OCCURS THAT REQUIRES AN AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM
 TO BE PROVIDED BASED ON THE NEW OCCUPANCY IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH CHAPTER 9 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING,
 SUCH SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE
 THE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS.
  
 2014 FBC-B [F] 903.2.2 AMBULATORY CARE FACILITIES. AN
 AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM SHALL BE INSTALLED
 THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE FLOOR CONTAINING AN AMBULATORY
 CARE FACILITY WHERE EITHER OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
 EXIST AT ANY TIME:
  
 1. FOUR OR MORE CARE RECIPIENTS ARE INCAPABLE OF SELF
 PRESERVATION, WHETHER RENDERED INCAPABLE BY STAFF OR
 STAFF HAS ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY FOR CARE RECIPIENTS
 ALREADY INCAPABLE.
  
 2. ONE OR MORE CARE RECIPIENTS THAT ARE INCAPABLE OF

 IS AN UNUSUAL BUILDING SINCE NONE OF THE TENANT SPACE
 (1600 N DIXIE) HAVE DOORWAYS THAT EXIT ONTO A PUBLIC
 RIGHT OF WAY. PLEASE PROVIDE A SITE PLAN SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH:
 2A) 2014 FBC-B 1027.5 ACCESS TO A PUBLIC WAY. THE EXIT
 DISCHARGE SHALL PROVIDE A DIRECT AND UNOBSTRUCTED
 ACCESS TO A PUBLIC WAY.
 2B) 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 206.2.4 SPACES AND
 ELEMENTS. AT LEAST ONE ACCESSIBLE ROUTE SHALL CONNECT
 ACCESSIBLE BUILDING OR FACILITY ENTRANCES WITH ALL

 3) SHEET LS-1.0A SHOWS (2) 1 HOUR FIRE SEPARATION WALLS
 LOCATED AT THE PROPERTY LINE. THERE ARE 2 LLC
 CORPORATIONS THAT OWN THE BUILDING AT 1600 N. DIXIE AND
 1522 N. DIXIE. NO UNITY OF TITLE CAN OCCUR FOR THIS
 SITE WITH DIFFERENT OWNERS. THE ISSUE WITH THE DOORWAY
 BEING CUT INTO THE PROPERTY LINE WALL THESE ARE
 CONSIDERED AS BOTH BEING 1 HOUR FIRE RATED WALLS. SINCE
 THERE IS ONLY ONE COMMON WALL SEPARATING THE 2
 PROPERTIES, THIS PORTION OF WALL WILL NEED TO BE

 15100589. PLEASE NOTE THE WIND DESIGN FOR THE ANCHORING
 OF THE RTU UNIT TO CURB IS 150 MPH. PLEASE CORRECT THE
 WIND DESIGN AND CALCULATIONS FOR ANCHORING OF THE RTU
 TO CURB. THIS IS A 170 VULT MPH WIND ZONE FOR BUILDINGS

 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
