 CHECKLIST.
 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 1- SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON PLANS IS NOT CLEAR. THE DEMO
 FLOOR PLAN, THE KEY PLAN AND THE REMODELING NOTES SHOWN
 ON SHEET S1.1 DON'T MATCH. THE DEMO PLAN SHOWS
 EVERYTHING IN DOTTED LINE. WHY?. IS EVERYTHING GOING TO
 BE REMOVED?. THE DEMO PLAN ALSO SHOWS SOME AREAS WITH
 DIAGONALLY HATCHED LINES. WHAT IS THE WORK TO BE DONE
 ON THOSE AREAS. THERE IS NO WALL LEGEND IDENTIFYING
 THIS HATCHED LINES. CLEARLY IDENTIFY EACH WINDOW AND
 DOOR THAT IS GOING TO BE REPLACED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
 RESPONSE:
 DEMO PLAN AND KEY PLAN STILL DON'T MATCH. SCOPE OF WORK
 IS NO CLEAR. PROVIDE ONE COMPLETE DEMOLITION PLAN AND A
 FLOOR PLAN SHOWING ALL THE PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK.
 DON'T MIX THE DEMOLITION PLAN WITH THE PROPOSED FLOOR
 PLAN. NOTE: KEEP IN MIND THAT ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS
 AND PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER THERE IS AN
 ENCLOSED PORCH IN THE EAST SIDE AND ANOTHER ENCLOSED
 PORCH IN THE WEST SIDE OF THE HOUSE. ACCORDING TO THE
 DEMO PLAN THESE PORCHES WILL BE CONVERTED TO LIVING
 ROOM AND NOOK ACCORDINGLY. THE DEMO PLAN SHALL IDENTIFY
 THE EXISTING USE AND THE PROPOSED PLAN SHALL IDENTIFY
 THE PROPOSED CHANGES ACCORDINGLY.
 IN ADDITION THE WALL SCHEDULE AND THE INFORMATION SHOWN
 ON THE DEMO PLAN DON'T MATCH. PROVIDE A WALL SCHEDULE
 THAT CLEARLY IDENTIFIES ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON
 THE REQUESTED PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 2- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND ALL DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. REVISE VALUATION BASED ON ALL THE SCOPE OF
 WORK SHOWN ON PLANS. AND ADD THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL
 FEES. NOTE: INCLUDE THE KITCHEN RENOVATION, THE REAR
 ENCLOSED PORCH THAT WAS ALTERED FOR KITCHEN EXPANSION
 AND ALL THE REPAIRS TO THE EXTERIOR WALLS.
 RESPONSE:
 VALUATION WAS CHANGED TO $10,000 ON THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION. THIS IS STILL TOO LOW FOR THE PROPOSED
 SCOPE OR WORK. PROVIDE COPY OF SIGNED CONTRACT SHOWING
 ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK FOR BUILDING OFFICIAL REVIEW.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 3- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED BRING, THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD) FOR IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT.
 (REAR ENCLOSED PORCH WAS ALTERED FOR KITCHEN EXPANSION.
 SEE NEW KITCHEN LAYOUT). BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED
 PLANS AND COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY
 IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT
 CODE.
 RESPONSE:
 IN ADDITION THE EAST ENCLOSED PORCH WAS CONVERTED TO
 LIVING ROOM. AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED AND THE SCOPE OF
 WORK IS CLARIFIED , BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH COUNTY FOR
 IMPACT FEES STAMP THAT MATCHES SUBMITTED RECEIPT
 (MU-2016-014290).
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 A) VINYL SIDING AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
 RESPONSE:
 NOT ADDRESSED.
  
 5- ENGINEER TO APPROVE ABOVE PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NEW COMMENTS:
 (1) ON SHEET S1.1 THERE IS A NOTE UNDER THE HVAC,
 PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL NOTES THAT CARBON MONOXIDE
 ALARMS ARE NOT REQUIRED BECAUSE THERE ARE NO GAS
 APPLIANCES OR GARAGE IN THIS HOUSE. THERE IS AN
 EXISTING FIREPLACE IN THIS HOUSE. THEREFORE, THE CARBON
 MONOXIDE ALARMS ARE REQUIRED. SPECIFY LOCATION OF
 CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R315
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 (2) THE NEW FRAMED STAIRS SHOWN BY THE FAMILY ROOM NEED
 TO PROVIDE A LANDING AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R311.3
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
