 AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS. REVISION FEES MAY APPLY.

 1- REVISE ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 A) PROVIDE COMPLETE AND CORRECT INFORMATION ON TOP OF
 FORM, INCLUDING CORRECT OWNER'S NAME ("HOMEOWNER" IS
 NOT AN OWNER), BUILDER NAME, PERMIT OFFICE AND
 JURISDICTION NUMBER. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 B) REVISE NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS SHOWN UNDER "SPACES" ON
 PAGE 2 OF 4. THIS IS A THREE BEDROOM HOUSE. CLARIFY WHY
 CONSIDERING ONLY ONE OCCUPANT. THE NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
 MAY AFFECT THE A/C SIZING LOAD CALCULATIONS. A HIGH
 NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS MAY RESULT TO OVERSIZE THE A/C
 EQUIPMENT. ON THE OTHER HAND, A LOW NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
 MAY RESULT TO UNDERSIZE THE A/C EQUIPMENT. PROVIDE THE
 COMPLETE A/C LOAD CALCULATIONS (NOT JUST THE SUMMARY)
 TO VERIFY EQUIPMENT SIZING. EQUIPMENT CAN NOT BE
 OVERSIZED OR UNDERSIZED. SEE SEC. R403.6.1 AND SEC.
 R403.6.1.1 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 5TH EDITION (2014).
 TYPICALLY A THREE BEDROOM HOUSE IS OCCUPIED BY MORE
 THAN ONE PERSON. THE PURPOSE OF THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS
 AND EQUIPMENT SIZING IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE ENERGY
 CONSERVATION BY PROPERLY DESIGNING THE STRUCTURE AND
 THE EQUIPMENT TO BE USED. IF ONLY USING ONE PERSON FOR
 THE DESIGN PARAMETERS, THEN PROVIDE COMPLETE
 DOCUMENTATION SUPPORTING THIS DESIGN APPROACH.
 DOCUMENTATION WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL.
  
 C) SEC. R806.2 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014)
 REQUIRES 1/150 ATTIC VENTILATION RATIO. ATTIC
 INFORMATION ON PAGE 2 OF 4 SPECIFIES 1/300 ATTIC
 VENTILATION RATIO. PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING HOW THIS HOUSE COMPLIES WITH THE
 EXCEPTION OF SEC. R806.2 FOR 1/300 ATTIC VENTILATION
 RATIO. OTHERWISE REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 D) REVISE THE WINDOWS OVERHANG DEPTH AND SEPARATION TO

 CARD. SEC. R405.4.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 NEW COMMENT:
 H) ITEM #12 SPECIFIES 18 SEER FOR THE COOLING
 EQUIPMENT. FLOOR PLAN M-1 SPECIFIES 15 SEER. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO MATCH. SEC. R103.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 NOTE: LABEL FOR WINDOWS AND DOORS U-FACTOR AND SHGC
 FACTOR SPECIFIED ON THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS WILL BE
 REQUIRED FOR VERIFICATION.
