 2- DOORS AND WINDOWS DESIGN PRESSURES SHOWN ON SHEET
 A-7 DON'T MATCH DESIGN PRESSURES SPECIFIED ON SHEET
 A-2. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. R301 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL,
 5TH EDITION (2014).
 RESPONSE:
 THE DESIGN PRESSURES WERE DELETED FROM SHEET A-2. THOSE
 DESIGN PRESSURES WERE CORRECT. THEY CORRESPONDED TO
 EXPOSURE "C". THE DESIGN PRESSURES SHOWN ON SHEET A-7
 DON'T CORRESPOND TO EXPOSURE "C". ALSO, THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES ON THE SMALL OPENINGS CAN NOT BE LOWER THAN
 THE BIGGER OPENINGS. THE SMALLER THE TRIBUTARY AREA,
 THE HIGHER THE DESIGN PRESSURES. REVISE ALL THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES SHOWN ON SHEET A-7. NOTE: MAKE SURE DESIGN
 PRESSURES ARE GIVEN BASED ON THE OPENING SIZE AND
 DISTANCE FROM THE EDGE OF BUILDING. FIGURE R301.2(7)
 REQUIRES 4'-0" MINIMUM AS THE EDGE DISTANCE FOR ALL
 CASES.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 3- PROVIDE COMPLETE WALL SECTION THRU GABLE END SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R609.4 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH
 EDITION (2014).
 RESPONSE:
 RESPONSE LETTER STATED THAT "MASONRY WALL IS EXISTING".
 THIS IS NOT CORRECT. THE WEST GABLE END WALL BY THE
 KITCHEN AREA IS NEW. THE "PERSPECTIVE OF GABLE END
 TRUSS" DETAIL SHOWN ON SHEET A-6 DOESN'T MATCH TRUSS
 PLAN SHOWN ON SAME SHEET. THERE IS NO GABLE END TRUSS.
 THERE ARE NOT CONNECTORS SPECIFIED FOR THE 2X4
 OUTRIGGERS. THERE ARE NOT GABLE END VERTICAL WEBS
 LARGER THAN 4'-0". THEREFORE THE VERTICAL REINFORCEMENT
 WOULDN'T APPLY. SEC. R609.4 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL REQUIRES
 CONCRETE BLOCK WALL TO BE CONTINUOUS TO THE ROOF LINE.
 OTHERWISE, WOOD FRAME CONSTRUCTION REQUIRES CONFORMANCE
 WITH TABLES R609.4A AND R609.4B AND FIGURE R609.4. SEE
 EXCEPTION FOR SEC. R609.4. PROVIDE A COMPLETE
 SECTION/DETAIL SHOWING HOW PROVIDING A CONTINUOUS LOAD
 PATH FROM THE ROOF TO THE CONCRETE BLOCK WALL. SPECIFY
 ALL CONNECTORS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R801.2
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:

 THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED.
 NONE OF THEM MATCH SINGLE INSWING DOOR TYPE AS SHOWN ON
 PLANS. BOTH PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE FOR DOUBLE DOORS OR
 SINGLE DOOR WITH SIDELITE. NOT SINGLE DOORS ONLY.
 PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL THAT MATCHES PLANS AND DOOR
 SCHEDULE.
  
 NOTE: DOOR SCHEDULE ON SHEET A-8 DOESN'T MATCH
 INFORMATION SHOWN ON PLANS. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO
 MATCH.
