 1) NOTICE ONLY, NO ACTION NEEDED AT THIS TIME. REVISION
 INCREASE WENT FROM $10,000 TO $95,000.00 FOR THE
 MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL & PLUMBING BEING ADDED TO THE
 BASE BUILDING PERMIT. NOTE VALUES GO ON THE BASE
 BUILDING PERMIT. SUB-PERMITS COME IN AS A $80.00 COST
 FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES, NO VALUE.
  
 2) SEMI-COMPLIED . REVISION SHEET S-4 PROVIDES THE
 ANCHOR DETAILS FOR THE CURB TO THE DECK AND THE ROOF
 TOP UNIT TO THE CURB. WE ARE STILL MISSING THE APPROVAL
 FOR THE CURB. THE CONTRACTOR IS TO SUBMIT THE CURB
 APPROVAL TO THE DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR REVIEW, IF
 APPROVED THEN THE DESIGNER OF RECORD IS TO APPLY THEIR
 SHOP DRAWING STAMP OF APPROVAL ON THE DOCUMENT BEFORE
 SUBMITTAL TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT. THE M1 SHEET
 SHOWS 5 NEW ROOF TOP A/C UNITS A REVISION TO THE
 ORIGINAL PERMIT.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE ACTUAL ROUGH OPENING SIZE FOR THE
 ROOF PENETRATIONS. NOTE ON THE S-4 SHEET INDICATES
 COORDINATE THE EXACT SIZE OF HOLE AND REQUIREMENTS WITH
 MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR. THE SUBMITTAL FOR THE CURB SIZE
 IS UNKNOWN, NOT PROVIDED, HOW CAN THE STRUCTURAL CALCS
 BE ACCURATE?
  
 PLEASE NOTE THE SEA COAST ENGINEERING SUBMITTAL FOR THE
 MODEL/ TAG THC092 IS 2 TONS LARGER THAN SPECED IN ON
 M-1. PLEASE REVIEW SHEET M-1 RTU SPECIFICATIONS, UNIT
 SPECED IN IS A TSC072.
  
 2A) 2ND REQUEST UNTIL THE UNKNOWNS ABOVE ARE SATISFIED
 THE AND DISCREPANCIES CLEARED UP THE WIND LOAD
 CERTIFICATION CANNOT BE APPROVED.
 DISCREPANCIES!!!!!!2014 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD
 EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS
 SHALL BE DETERMINED BY METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS
 THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY,
 GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM
 MATERIAL PROPERTIES. EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED
 TO RESIST THE OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL
 FORCES SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR
 WIND LOADS?
  
 2014 FBC-M- 301.15 WIND RESISTANCE. MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES AND SUPPORTS THAT ARE EXPOSED TO
 WIND SHALL BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED TO RESIST THE WIND
 PRESSURES DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 2B) SEMI-COMPLIED, DISCREPANCIES , AND UNKNOWN
 DIMENSION IN OPENINGS.
 IF THE ABOVE MENTIONED IS DESIGNED BY EITHER A DELEGATE
 ENGINEER OR MECHANICAL ENGINEER THE ENGINEER OF RECORD
 WILL NEED TO REVIEW THE ENGINEERED DETAILS FOR
 CONFORMANCE WITH THEIR OVERALL DESIGN FOR THE BUILDING.
 107.3.4.1 THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA
 RULE 9N-3 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 ENGINEERING SUBMITTED FORM BOEDOIN HUTCHINSON A
 DELEGATE ENGINEER WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED TO STEPHEN
 H. PAGE THE ENGINEER OF RECORD, ALSO NOTE THE SUBMITTED
 CALCULATIONS ARE COPIES NOT SIGNED AND SEALED
 ORIGINALS. PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, REPORTS OR OTHER
 DOCUMENTS PREPARED BY THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL AND BEING
 FILED FOR PUBLIC RECORD SHALL HAVE THE SIGNATURE AND
 SEAL OF THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL AFFIXED TO THE
 DOCUMENT.

 3 SETS OF PLANS SUBMITTED ONLY (2) SETS OF COPIES
 SUBMITTED NOT (3) ORIGINALS.
  
 3) UNTIL THE DISCREPANCIES IN THE ROOF TOP RTU?S IS
 SATISFIED THIS COMMENT WILL STAND. THIS BUILDING WAS
 DESIGNED AS A SHELL BUILDING EXEMPT FROM THE ENERGY
 CODE. WITH THE A/C ROOF TOP UNITS BEING ADDED TO THE
 SCOPE OF WORK, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING FOR THE HOOK UP
 OF THESE UNITS THE BUILDING NO LONGER QUALIFIES AS A
 SHELL BUILDING AND WILL NEED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS
 FOUND UNDER THE 2014 FBC-ENERGY CODE;
 3A) C401.2 APPLICATION. COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
 1. THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1.
 2. THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS C402, C403, C404 AND
 C405. IN ADDITION, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH EITHER SECTION C406.2, C406.3 OR
 C406.4.
 3. THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION C407, C402.4, C403.2,
 C404, C405.2, C405.3, C405.4, C405.6 AND C405.7. THE
 BUILDING ENERGY COST SHALL BE EQUAL
 TO OR LESS THAN 85 PERCENT OF THE STANDARD REFERENCE
 DESIGN BUILDING.
  
 NOTE ASHRAE 90 CALCS. WERE SUBMITTED BUT THE MANDATORY
 REQUIREMENTS FOUND ON PAGE 8 OF 13 NOT COMPLETED. TO BE
 CHECKED AT COMPLIANCE SUBMISSION, ALL BOXES WERE LEFT
 BLANK!!!!!!
  
 4) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
