 STANDARDS WITH A DIFFERENT VERSION THAN SPECIFIED IN
 CHAPTER 34. PLEASE REVISE. USE OF A DIFFERENT STANDARD
 THAN THAT OF GOVERNING CODE WOULD REQUIRE A WRITTEN
 ANALYSIS OF THE DIFFERENCES TO BE PRESENTED TO THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL FOR CONSIDERATION.

 THE ENGINEER WHICH IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH FS 471,
 FAC61G15-23.002. PLEASE SEE WWW.FBPE.ORG, LAWS AND
 RULES. THE TITLE BLOCK PORTION IS HIGHLIGHTED. THE
 TITLE BLOCK IS LACKING THE CERTIFICATE OF
 AUTHORIZATION, PRINTED NAME AND LICENSE NUMBER OF THE
 PERSON SEALING THE DOCUMENT.
  
 5. IT APPEARS THE ELECTRICAL PAGES WERE UPLOADED TWICE;
 ONCE IN THE PLAN FOLDER AND ONCE IN THE SUPPORTING
 DOCUMENTS FOLDER. PLEASE REMOVE THE PAGES IN THE
 SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOLDER OR CLARIFY THE PURPOSE OF
 TWO SETS OF DOCUMENTS, FBC 107.
  
 6. SEE FLORIDA STATUTE 553.79 (7)(D); ALL PLANS FOR THE
 BUILDING WHICH ARE REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY
 THE ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER OF RECORD CONTAIN A STATEMENT
 THAT, TO THE BEST OF THE ARCHITECT?S OR ENGINEER?S
 KNOWLEDGE, THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS COMPLY WITH THE
 APPLICABLE MINIMUM BUILDING CODES AND THE APPLICABLE
 FIRESAFETY STANDARDS AS DETERMINED BY THE LOCAL
 AUTHORITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS CHAPTER AND CHAPTER
 633.
  
 I WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THIS STATEMENT (ARCHITECT,
 ENGINEER), PLEASE REVISE PLANS TO INCLUDE OR ADVISE AS
 TO WHERE THIS CAN BE FOUND ON THE PLANS SUBMITTED.
  
 7. PLEASE CONFIRM SCOPE OF THIS FOUNDATION PERMIT.
 AUGERCAST PILES AND PILE CAPS ARE INCLUDED ON THE
 PERMIT DESCRIPTION. WILL THE GRADE BEAMS AND FIRST LIFT
 OF COLUMNS BE INCLUDED IN THE SCOPE OF THIS PERMIT? AS
 THIS PROJECT HAS A TIGHT TIMELINE, CONSIDER EXPANDING
 THE SCOPE TO AVOID SCHEDULING ISSUES IN THE EVENT THAT
 THE FULL BUILDING PERMIT IS NOT ISSUED ON THE SCHEDULE
 ANTICIPATED. ALTERNATIVELY, THIS FOUNDATION PERMIT
 (CURRENTLY LIMITED TO AUGERCAST PILES AND PILE CAPS)
 CAN BE EXPANDED WITH A REVISION.
  
 8. THE PLUMBING PAGES ARE MARKED ?FOR REFERENCE ONLY.?
 IF THE SCOPE OF THE FOUNDATION PERMIT INCLUDES COLUMNS
 AND GRADE BEAMS, A PLUMBING PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED AND
 THE PAGES SHOULD BE SIGNED AND SEALED.
  
 9. THIS PROJECT CROSSES PROPERTY LINES. PLEASE ADVISE,
 WILL THE PARCELS BE UNIFIED, OR A REPLAT FILED? FBC
 705.8.
  
 10. PROVIDE A SITE PLAN WHICH SHOWS THE PROPOSED
 UNIFIED PARCEL, BUILDING OUTLINE, AND DISTANCE OF THE
 EXTERIOR WALLS TO THE PROPERTY LINE OR CENTERLINE OF
 PUBLIC WAY TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC TABLE 705.8.
  
 11. SEE GEOTECHNICAL REPORT, SECTION 7.2.2, NOTE 18, AN
 NV5 SHOULD PROVIDE FULL TIME QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTION
 TO DOCUMENT THE EXCAVATION AND GROUTING OF EACH PILE
 AND TO PROVIDE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH A LICENSED OFFICE
 ENGINEER, ANY NECESSARY FIELD ADJUSTMENTS OF PILE TIP
 ELEVATIONS. DOES APPLICANT INTEND TO ACCEPT THIS
 RECOMMENDATION? IF NOT, WHAT OTHER PROVISIONS WILL BE
 MADE FOR QUALITY CONTROL AND TO ADDRESS 2014 FBC-B
 1810.3.5.2.2 (SEE COMMENT BELOW).

 13. SEE TEST PILE REPORT PLAN REVIEW (16020780):
  
 1) DURING THE PROCESS OF BORING OF THE TEST PILE TO THE
 GROUTING PROCESS AND PLACEMENT OF REINFORCEMENT, THE
 GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER SHOULD ALSO MONITOR AND REPORT
 THE RESULTS OF THE TEST PILE INSTALLATION AS WELL AS
 LOAD TESTING. THE WEST PALM BEACH BUILDING DEPARTMENT
 WILL REQUIRE A SET OF BORING LOGS, PROVIDE THE
 THEORETICAL PILE VOLUME AS WELL AS THE ACTUAL PILE
 VOLUME FOR EACH TEST PILE AND TEST RESULTS OF THE 14
 INCH AND 24 INCH AUGER CAST CONCRETE TEST PILE.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE DOCUMENTS REFERENCED, REVIEWED BY
 EOR.
  
 2) TABLE 5 SUMMARY OF PILE ALLOWABLE AXIAL CAPACITIES
 INDICATES THE 14 INCH PILE MINIMUM PILE TIP ELEVATION
 NGVD -40 FT AND THE 24 INCH PILE A -65 FT NGVD. SECTION
 6.2.2 INDICATES THERE IS A THIN LAYER OF COQUINA ROCK
 AT THE SITE AND THE 24 INCH PILE MAY NEED TO GO AS DEEP
 AS 75 TO 80 FEET TO ENSURE THE 24 INCH DIAMETER PILES
 BE SOCKET AT LEAST 45 FEET INTO THE COQUINA.
  
 2014 FBC-B 1810.3.5.2.2 UNCASED. CAST-IN-PLACE DEEP
 FOUNDATION ELEMENTS WITHOUT A PERMANENT CASING SHALL
 HAVE A DIAMETER OF NOT LESS THAN 12 INCHES (305 MM).
 THE ELEMENT LENGTH SHALL NOT EXCEED 30 TIMES THE
 AVERAGE DIAMETER.
  
 EXCEPTION: THE LENGTH OF THE ELEMENT IS PERMITTED TO
 EXCEED 30 TIMES THE DIAMETER, PROVIDED THE DESIGN AND
 INSTALLATION OF THE DEEP FOUNDATIONS ARE UNDER THE
 DIRECT SUPERVISION OF A REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL
 KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THE FIELD OF SOIL MECHANICS AND DEEP
 FOUNDATIONS. THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL SHALL
 SUBMIT A REPORT TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL STATING THAT
 THE ELEMENTS WERE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 APPROVED CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
  
 14. SEE THRESHOLD REVIEW. THIS MAY BE ADDRESSED VIA
 EMAIL OR THROUGH THE FRONT COUNTER.
  
 15. SEE IMPACT FEE REVIEW. THIS MAY BE ADDRESSED AT ANY
 TIME, BUT IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO PERMIT ISSUANCE.
  
 16. ADVISORY ONLY, THE ART IN PUBLIC PLACES WAS SENT
 VIA EMAIL, CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES
 78-123, 78-126.
  
 THIS PERMIT WILL BE ISSUED WITH THE PROVISO THAT,
 WITHIN 90 DAYS OF ISSUANCE, THE APPROVAL WILL BE
 PROVIDED. PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THE APPROVAL WHEN
 AVAILABLE VIA EMAIL TO [email protected] IN ORDER TO
 DOCUMENT THE PERMIT FILE.
  
 17. INCORPORATE A NOTE INTO THE PLAN REGARDING THE
 AMOUNT OF TIME WHICH SHOULD ELAPSE BETWEEN POURS WHEN
 TWO PILES ARE IN NEAR PROXIMITY, FBC 107,
  
 18. CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FBC,
 105.13 PHASED PERMIT APPROVAL. AFTER SUBMITTAL OF THE
 APPROPRIATE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS, THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL IS AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE A PERMIT FOR THE
 CONSTRUCTION OF FOUNDATIONS OR ANY OTHER PART OF A
 BUILDING OR STRUCTURE BEFORE THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR THE WHOLE BUILDING OR STRUCTURE HAVE BEEN
 SUBMITTED. THE HOLDER OF SUCH PERMIT FOR THE FOUNDATION
 OR OTHER PARTS OF A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE SHALL PROCEED
 AT THE HOLDER?S OWN RISK WITH THE BUILDING OPERATION
 AND WITHOUT ASSURANCE THAT A PERMIT FOR THE ENTIRE
 STRUCTURE WILL BE GRANTED. CORRECTIONS MAY BE REQUIRED
 TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE TECHNICAL CODES. THIS
 PROVISION IS ONLY FOR THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, ALL
 OTHER AGENCY APPROVALS NECESSARY FOR CONSTRUCTION MUST
 BE SECURED PRIOR TO THIS PROVISION BEING APPLIED.
