 1. PROVIDE DETAIL FOR CMU INFILL WALL AT GARAGE DOOR
 OPENING. INCLUDE VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL RE-INFORCING
 AND CONNECTION TO EXISTING SLAB AND BEAM.
  
 FBC 117 - THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY REQUIRE TESTS OR
 TEST REPORTS AS PROOF OF COMPLIANCE PLEASE BE ADVISED
 THE INSPECTOR MAY REQUIRE PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED WORK TO
 BE MADE ACCESSIBLE AND OPEN FOR INSPECTION OR REQUIRE
 ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION FOR ALL CONCEALED WORK
 PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED PURSUANT TO FBC 110 & FBC 117.
 FBC 110.1 GENERAL. CONSTRUCTION OR WORK FOR WHICH A
 PERMIT IS REQUIRED SHALL BE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION BY
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL AND SUCH CONSTRUCTION OR WORK
 SHALL REMAIN ACCESSIBLE AND EXPOSED FOR INSPECTION
 PURPOSES UNTIL APPROVED.
 REQUIRED TESTS ARE TO BE MADE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE
 OWNER, OR AGENT, BY AN APPROVED TESTING LABORATORY OR
 OTHER APPROVED AGENCY.
  
 2. PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR IMPACT FIXED GLASS.
  
 FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THOSE
 PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC RULE 9N-3 REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
 SPECIFICALLY, PROVIDE WINDOW SUBMITTALS.
  
 3. BASED ON THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE, SEC R322, IT MUST BE ESTABLISHED WHAT LEVEL OF
 WORK WILL BE REQUIRED. PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION
 ESTABLISHING "MARKET VALUE" OF THE RESIDENCE SO IT CAN
 BE DETERMINED IF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS EXCEED 50%
 OF MARKET VALUE. THE LEVEL OF WORK REQUIRED WILL BE
 DETERMINED BY THIS INFORMATION. SEE BELOW.

 FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS
 ESTABLISHED IN SECTION 1612.3 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, BUILDING OR SECTION R322 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, RESIDENTIAL, AS APPLICABLE, ANY ADDITION THAT
 CONSTITUTES SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT OF THE EXISTING
 STRUCTURE, AS DEFINED IN SECTION 202, SHALL COMPLY WITH
 THE FLOOD DESIGN REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION, AND
 ALL ASPECTS OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE SHALL BE BROUGHT
 INTO COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW
 CONSTRUCTION FOR FLOOD DESIGN.
  
 FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS
 ESTABLISHED IN SECTION 1612.3 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, BUILDING, OR SECTION R322 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, RESIDENTIAL, AS APPLICABLE ANY ADDITIONS THAT DO
 NOT CONSTITUTE SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT OF THE EXISTING
 STRUCTURE, AS DEFINED IN SECTION 202, ARE NOT REQUIRED
 TO COMPLY WITH THE FLOOD DESIGN REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW
 CONSTRUCTION.

 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT. ANY REPAIR, RECONSTRUCTION,
 REHABILITATION, ALTERATION, ADDITION OR OTHER
 IMPROVEMENT OF A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE, THE COST OF
 WHICH EQUALS OR EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE MARKET VALUE
 OF THE STRUCTURE BEFORE THE IMPROVEMENT OR REPAIR IS
 STARTED. IF THE STRUCTURE HAS SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL
 DAMAGE, ANY REPAIRS ARE CONSIDERED SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT REGARDLESS OF THE ACTUAL REPAIR WORK
