 1) REFER TO SECTION C101.4.4 FBC-14 ENERGY CONSERVATION
 AND SUBMIT ENERGY CALCULATIONS FOR THE PROPOSED CHANGE
 OF OCCUPANCY- SEE SECTION C101.5.1 FOR COMPLIANCE
 MATERIALS, AND C401.2 FOR COMPLIANCE METHODS AND
 REQUIREMENTS.
 2) REFER TO SECTION 1009.1 FBC-14 EXISTING BUILDING AND
 PROVIDE MINIMUM VENTILATION CALCULATIONS FOR EACH
 OCCUPIABLE ROOM OR SPACE-IN ACCORDANCE WITH TABLE 404.3
 FBC-14 MECHANICAL. PROVIDE A VENTILATION SCHEDULE ON
 THE PLAN INDICATING THE REQUIRED AND PROVIDED AMOUNT OF
 OUTDOOR AIR CFM'S. COMPLIANCE FOR NATURAL VENTILATION
 CAN BE FOUND IN SECTION 402.
 3) NO MECHANICAL PLANS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED FOR THE
 PROPOSED PROJECT, HOWEVER THE PLANS INDICATE AN
 AIR-HANDLER ON THE 1ST FLOOR ARCHITECTURAL PLANS.
 PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLETE AC PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 INCLUDING: A) AC COOLING AND HEATING CALCULATIONS. B)
 AN AC DUCT LAYOUT PLAN AND EQUIPMENT SCHEDULE. C) AIR
 HANDLER AND CONDENSER INSTALLATION DETAILS. D) OUTSIDE
 AIR DETAILS INCLUDING LOCATION OF THE AIR INTAKE, TYPE
 AND SIZE OF O/A INTAKE AND CFM CAPACITY. E) CONDENSATE
 DISPOSAL DETAILS. E) TOILET ROOM EXHAUST VENTILATION
 PLANS AND DETAILS.
 4) THE OPEN AREA HAS BEEN DESIGNATED AS THE EXERCISE
 AREA WHICH IS CLASSIFIED AS "OCCUPIABLE SPACE" AND
 THEREFORE MUST BE PROVIDED WITH HEAT AND VENTILATION.
 PLEASE REFER TO COMMENT #2 ABOVE, AND ALSO SECTION
 309.1 FBC-14 MECHANICAL AND SHOW COMPLIANCE.
 5) BASED ON THE SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT,
 THE $800.00 JOB VALUE LISTED ON THE PERMIT APPLICATIONS
 APPEARS EXTREMELY LOW. PLEASE PROVIDE AN ACCURATE VALUE
 FOR ALL WORK EITHER UNPERMITTED OR PROPSED THAT
 INCLUDES LABOR, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT FOR ALL PHASES
 OF CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING BUILDING, MEP, SITE WORK,
 DESIGN FEES, OVEHEAD AND PROFIT- SEE SECTION 109.3 WPB
 AMENDMENTS TO THE FBC-10 BUILDING CODE. PLEASE NOTE
 FURTHER COMMENTS MAY FOLLOW AFTER MORE COMPREHENSIVE
 PLANS AND SPECIFCATIONS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW.
