 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A-1:
  
 1A) ROOM PM-3 SHOWS A NEW DOOR # 3. JUST TO THE LEFT OF
 THE DOOR THERE IS A OFFSET IN THE WALL IN THE REQUIRED
 18 INCHES MANEUVERING CLEARANCES. PLEASE PROVIDE
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE:
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 404.2.4.3 RECESSED
 DOORS AND GATES.
 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES FOR FORWARD APPROACH SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WHEN ANY OBSTRUCTION WITHIN 18 INCHES (455 MM)
 OF THE LATCH SIDE OF A DOORWAY PROJECTS MORE THAN 8
 INCHES (205 MM) BEYOND THE FACE OF THE DOOR, MEASURED
 PERPENDICULAR TO THE FACE OF THE DOOR OR GATE.
  
 1B) BOTH THE FRONT AND EXIT DO NOT SHOW IF THEY ARE
 LEVEL WITH THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING, A ACCESSIBLE
 ENTRY AND OR EXIT TO THE BUILDING.
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES
 IN THE EVENT OF DISPROPORTIONALITY.
 WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH
 OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION,
 THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE
 EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING
 DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS. IN CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE
 ELEMENTS TO PROVIDE, PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE
 ELEMENTS THAT WILL PROVIDE THE GREATEST ACCESS, IN THE
 FOLLOWING ORDER: (I) AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE; (II) AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE ALTERED AREA; (III) AT LEAST
 ONE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM FOR EACH SEX OR A SINGLE UNISEX
 RESTROOM; (IV) ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES; (V) ACCESSIBLE
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND
 ALARMS.
  
 1C) DOOR # 1 PLEASE REVIEW THE FLOOR PLAN TO ALLEN?S
 OFFICE AND SHOW THE ACCESSIBLE ENTRY. THE COLUMN
 LOCATION WILL CAUSE A WHEEL CHAIR BOUND INDIVIDUAL TO
 TRAVEL ALL THE WAY AROUND THE CONFERENCE ROOM. SEE 2014
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY FIGURE 404.2.4.1(B).
  
 2) SHEET A-2:
  
 2A) PLEASE REVIEW DETAIL 3 THE PLANS APPEAR TO HAVE A
 SINK IN A BASE CABINET AT 3'-0" TALL. THE 2014
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 606.3 HEIGHT. LAVATORIES AND
 SINKS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH THE FRONT OF THE HIGHER
 OF THE RIM OR COUNTER SURFACE 34 INCHES (865 MM)
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 2B) PLEASE REVIEW DETAIL 4 THE PLANS INDICATE A
 MICROWAVE SHELF AT A HEIGHT OF 54 INCHES ABOVE THE
 FLOOR. THE 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE FOR BOTH FORWARD
 AND SIDE OBSTRUCTED REACH ARE A MAXIMUM OF 48 INCHES.

 3) THE ARCHITECTS SIGNATURE IS A STAMP SIGNATURE NOT AN
 ORIGINAL. PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, REPORTS OR OTHER
 DOCUMENTS PREPARED BY THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL AND BEING
 FILED FOR PUBLIC RECORD SHALL HAVE THE SIGNATURE AND
 SEAL OF THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL AFFIXED TO THE
 DOCUMENT.

 4) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
