 DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THE PLANS INCLUDING THE ENGINEER'S SEAL AND
 SIGNATURE HAVE BEEN PHOTO COPIED AND REDUCED IN SIZE.
 SOME OF THE PRINT IS SO SMALL THAT IT IS ILLEGIBLE. FBC
 107.2.1.4 QUALITY OF BUILDING PLANS. BUILDING PLANS
 SHALL BE DRAWN TO A MINIMUM 1/8 INCH SCALE UPON
 SUBSTANTIAL PAPER, CLOTH OR OTHER ACCEPTABLE MEDIUM.
 THIS POLICY MAY INCLUDE SUCH THINGS AS MINIMUM SIZE,
 SHAPE, CONTRAST, CLARITY, OR OTHER ITEMS RELATED TO
 RECORDS MANAGEMENT.
  
 2) THE ENGINEER'S ORIGINAL HANDWRITTEN SIGNATURE IS
 REQUIRED ON THE PLANS PER FAC 61G15-23.002. THE
 ENGINEER'S SEAL SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 1 7/8 INCHES IN
 DIAMETER PER FAC61G15-23.001.
  
 3) THE PROJECT IS LOCATED WITHIN 600 FEET OF THE
 INTER-COASTAL WATERWAY. SURFACE ROUGHNESS D PREVAILS IN
 THE UPWIND DIRECTION FOR AT LEAST 5,000 FEET.
 THEREFORE, THIS PROJECT IS CONSIDERED TO BE EXPOSURE
 CATEGORY D. FBC-R301.2.1.4.3
  
 4) REVIEW THE COMPONENT AND CLADDING WIND PRESSURES FOR
 EXPOSURE D AND REVISE AS REQUIRED. FBC-R301.2.1
  
 5) PROVIDE AN EVALUATION REPORT FROM A FLORIDA LICENSED
 ENGINEER THAT SPECIFIES THAT THE EXISTING GARAGE
 FOUNDATION IS CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING THE SECOND STORY
 ADDITION. FBC 107.2.1
  
 6) THE WINDOWS OF THE PROPOSED SECOND FLOOR BEDROOM
 ABOVE THE EXISTING LIVING ROOM ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY
 WITH FBC-R310 FOR EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE,
  
 7) PROVIDE A DETAIL OR WALL SECTION THAT SHOWS HOW THE
 NEW FLOOR TRUSSES FOR THE PROPOSED BEDROOM OVER THE
 EXISTING LIVING ROOM WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE EXTERIOR
 AND INTERIOR WALLS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 8) PROVIDE STRUCTURAL DETAILS OF THE MASTER BEDROOM
 BALCONY AND GUARDRAIL. FBC-R301.1, R501.2 & R312
  
 9) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WITH FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH OF
 THE DIFFERENT ROOFING MATERIALS, WINDOW/GLASS TYPES,
 STRUCTURAL MULLIONS AND EXTERIOR DOOR TYPES. NO PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WERE SUBMITTED FOR THE EXTERIOR FRENCH DOORS,
 THE FRONT DOOR, THE FIXED WINDOWS AND STRUCTURAL
 MULLIONS.
  
 10) THE DRAWINGS FOR THE SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS (NOA NO.
 15-0512.10) ARE MISSING INFORMATION. IT APPEARS THAT
 THE DRAWINGS WERE NOT SHRUNK TO FIT ON THE SMALLER
 PAPER WHEN THEY WERE PRINTED. FBC 107.2.1
  
 11) SPECIFY THE METHOD OF ATTACHMENT THAT WILL BE USED
 TO INSTALL THE CEMENT ROOF TILES (NOA NO. 15-0223.18)
 AND RESIST THE REQUIRED OVERTURN MOMENT. IF A ROOF TILE
 ADHESIVE WILL BE USED PROVIDE TWO COPIES OF THE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR IT.
  
 12) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
 COMMENTS HAS BEEN ADDRESSED.
