| PROVIDE ADEQUATE DILUTION AND TO AVOID DETRIMENTAL |
| EFFECTS OF DOWNDRAFTS. |

| A) REFER TO SECTIONS 501.3 AND 501.3.1(4) FBC-14 |
| MECHANICAL WHICH REQUIRE THE EXHAUST SYSTEMS NOT TO |
| TERMINATE WHERE THEY COULD CAUSE A NUISANCE, OR BE |
| READILY DRAWN INTO A VENTILATING SYSTEM, AND MUST BE 3' |
| FROM EXTERIOR WALLS AND ROOFS. |

| SHALL BE CORROSION RESISTANT WITH OPENINGS NOT LESS |
| THAN 1/4" AND NOT LARGER THAN 1/2". THE 1" WELDED |
| STAINLESS MEXH SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS DOES NOT MEET THE |
| CODE. |
