 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A2.0 AND A6.1. BOTH PAGES SHOW DETAILS OF A
 NEW MEZZANINE:
 1A) SHEET A2.0 SHOWS AN ALATERNATIVE TO EXPAND THE
 MEZZANINE. PLEASE SEE 2014 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE W 2014
 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1 INFORMATION OF
 CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL BE
 SPECIFIC TO THE TECHNICAL CODES.
 IF THE DESIGNER WISHES TO EXPAND THE MEZZANINE AFTER
 THE PERMIT ISSUANCE IT MAY COME IN AS A REVISION.
  
 1B) PLEASE PROVIDE THE SQUARE FEET OF AREA IN ROOMS113
 & 114 THAT WILL COMMUNICATE WITH THE MEZZANINE TO SEE
 IF THERE IS CODE COMPLIANCE WITH:
 2014 505.2.1 AREA LIMITATION. THE AGGREGATE AREA OF A
 MEZZANINE OR MEZZANINES WITHIN A ROOM SHALL BE NOT
 GREATER THAN ONE-THIRD OF THE FLOOR AREA OF THAT ROOM
 OR SPACE IN WHICH THEY ARE LOCATED. THE ENCLOSED
 PORTION OF A ROOM SHALL NOT BE INCLUDED IN A
 DETERMINATION OF THE FLOOR AREA OF THE ROOM IN WHICH
 THE MEZZANINE IS LOCATED. IN DETERMINING THE ALLOWABLE
 MEZZANINE AREA, THE AREA OF THE MEZZANINE SHALL NOT BE
 INCLUDED IN THE FLOOR AREA OF THE ROOM. THE ALTERNATE
 DESIGN FOUND ON SHEET A2.0, A2.1, A2.2, A2.3 & A2.5 OF
 358 SQ. FT. APPEARS THE SQUARE FOOTAGE IS OVER THE
 ALLOWABLE 33% OF THE FLOOR AREA.
  
 1C) SHEET A2.0 & LS2.0 BOTH SHOW THE CORRIDOR 110 WITH
 A 1 HOUR FIRE RATING. THE PLANS ONLY STATE FOR THE
 CEILING 1 LAYER OF TYPE X 5/8 GYPSUMFOR BOTH SIDES OF
 THE CEILING. THE PLANS DO NOT PROVIDE A GYPSUM
 ASSOCIATION OR UL LISTING FOR THE CEILING ASSEMBLY NOR
 THE WALL ASSEMBLY. FBC-B 1018.1.
  
 1D) SHEET A2.0 SHOWS THE COORIDOR ON THE RIGHT SIDE
 THERE IS 2 DOORS 111 & 112 BOTH SHOW AS A 45 MINUE
 RATED DOOR, BUT TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CORRIDOR THERE
 IS NO DOOR SEPARATING THE CORRIDOR FROM THE TREATMENT
 ROOMS. FBC-B 1018.6 CORRIDOR CONTINUITY.
  
 2) SHEET A6.1:
 2A) SHEET A6.1 SHOWS A CUT ELEVATION THROUGH THE
 MEZZANINE LEVEL. THE PLANS INDICATE THE SCALE AS 3/4
 INCH EQUALS A FOOT, I BELIEVE THIS IS A TYPO AND SHOULD
 BE 3/8 INCH EQUALS A FOOT. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 2B) THE DESIGNER OF RECORD HAS NOTED THAT THE MEZANINE
 IS A DESIGN BUILD. A MANUFACTURED MEZANINE SYSTEM,
 SHALL INCLUDE COLUMNS, BEAMS AND BAR GRATINGFLOOR,
 RAILINGS, SHIPS LADDER FROM THE MEZANINE MANUFACTURER.
 WITH THE FOOTING DESIGN PER THE MANUFACTURERS
 RECOMMENDATIONS OR MANUFACTURERS STRUCTURAL CONSULTANT.
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD HAS NOT PROVIDED THE MEZZANINE
 MANUFACTURER THE REQUIRED DESIGN CRITERIA FOR THE
 MEZZANINE MANUFACTURER TO DESIGN TOO. 2014 FBC-B TABLE
 1607.1 (31) 125PSF OR 250 PSF (FOOTNOTE M) MINIMUM
 UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED LIVE LOADS.
  
 2C) 106.1 LIVE LOADS POSTED. WHERE THE LIVE LOADS FOR
 WHICH EACH FLOOR OR PORTION THEREOF OF A COMMERCIAL OR
 INDUSTRIAL BUILDING IS OR HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO EXCEED
 50 PSF (2.40 KN/M2), SUCH DESIGN LIVE LOADS SHALL BE
 CONSPICUOUSLY POSTED BY THE OWNER IN THAT PART OF EACH
 STORY IN WHICH THEY APPLY, USING DURABLE SIGNS. IT
 SHALL BE UNLAWFUL TO REMOVE OR DEFACE SUCH NOTICES
 106.2 ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY. A
 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY REQUIRED BY SECTION 111 SHALL
 NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL THE FLOOR LOAD SIGNS, REQUIRED BY
 SECTION 106.1, HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.
  
 2D) PLEASE NOTE ONLY LICENSED FLORIDA P.E. CAN PRCATICE
 ENGINEEERING IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. FLORIDA STATUTE
 471.015. THE STEEL MEZZANINE STAIRS, HANDRAIL,
 GUARDRAIL SYSTEM AS WELL AS FOUNDATION WILL ALL NEED TO
 BE ENGINEERED.
  
 2E) BEFORE THE MEZZANINE DRAWING ARE TO BE SUBMITTED
 TOTHIS OFFICE THEY MUST BE REVIEWED BY THE ARCHITECT OF
 RECORD AND SHOP DRAWING STAMP OF APPROVAL AFFIXED. FL
 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC...
  
 3) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
