 1) IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1609.4 FBC-14 BUILDING,
 THE HOUSE AND ROOF PROJECT IS LOCATED IN EXPOSURE D.
 PROVIDE CORRECTED CALCULATIONS AND AND SUBMITTALS
 INDICATING COMPLIANCE. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS ARE ISSUED WITH ENGINEERING CERTIFICATIONS,
 AND THE ENGINEER OF RECORD MAY PROVIDE A REVIEW
 SIGNATURE ON THE DOCUMENTS, BUT NOT RAISED SEALS AND
 SIGNATURES.
 2) PLEASE SEE NOTE 5.5.1 ON PAGE 3 OF THE ENTEGRA ROOF
 TILE PRODUCT APPROVAL AND INDICATE THE TYPE AND SIZE OF
 MECHANICAL TILE FASTENERS. THE SUBMITTED WORK SHEET
 APPEARS TO INDICATE BOTH SCREWS AND NAILS?
 3) PLEASE REFER TO SECTION 708.8 FBC-14 EXISTING
 BUILDING. BECAUSE THE VALUE OF THE HOUSE NEXCEEDS
 $300,000, ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS MAY HAVE TO BE
 IMPROVED.
 708.8 WHEN A ROOF COVERING ON AN EXISTING SITE-BUILT
 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE IS REMOVED AND
 REPLACED ON A BUILDING THAT IS LOCATED IN THE
 WIND-BORNE DEBRIS REGION AS DEFINED IN THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING AND THAT HAS AN INSURED VALUE
 OF $300,000 OR MORE OR, IF THE BUILDING IS UNINSURED OR
 FOR WHICH DOCUMENTATION OF INSURED VALUE IS NOT
 PRESENTED, HAS A JUST VALUATION FOR THE STRUCTURE FOR
 PURPOSES OF AD VALOREM TAXATION OF $300,000 OR MORE:
 (A) ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS SHALL BE IMPROVED AS
 REQUIRED BY SECTION 708.8.1.
 (B) MANDATED RETROFITS OF THE ROOF-TO-WALL CONNECTION
 SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED BEYOND A 15-PERCENT INCREASE IN
 THE COST OF REROOFING.
 EXCEPTION: SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES
 PERMITTED SUBJECT TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE ARE NOT
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THIS SECTION.
