 JULIO,
 I SEE YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE PLAN REVIEW FOR THIS
 PROPERTY. THE FRONT BUILDING IS IN BAD CONDITION. IT
 HAS A NEW ROOF AND HOT WATER HEATER WITHOUT PERMITS.
 THE INTERIOR HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DEMOLISHED AND ALL OF
 THE EXTERIOR HAS BEEN REMOVED TO THE SHIP LAP. I SEE
 THAT THERE IS MAJOR ROT THROUGH OUT AND MAY NEED SOME
 STRUCTURAL REPAIRS TO THE FOUNDATION.
 THERE IS A CURRENT STOP WORK ORDER FRO INTERIOR
 EXTERIOR DEMO WITHOUT PERMITS.
 THIS WILL REQUIRE A FULL SET OF PLANS INCLUDING
 STRUCTURAL REPAIR DETAILS. EVERY TRADE PERMIT IS
 REQUIRED.

 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON PLANS IS NOT CLEAR. PROVIDE A
 COMPLETE DEMOLITION FLOOR PLAN SHOWING IN DETAILS THE
 SCOPE OF DEMOLITION. AND, PROVIDE A SEPARATE AND
 COMPLETE FLOOR PLAN SHOWING ALL THE PROPOSED SCOPE OF
 WORK. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS. AND, PROVIDE
 DIMENSIONS FOR ALL ROOMS ON THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN.
 NOTE: SURVEY SUBMITTED SHOWS ONE STORY RESIDENCE UNDER
 CONSTRUCTION. WAS THE HOUSE DEMOLISHED?. EXTERIOR
 ELEVATIONS SHOW EXISTING ROOF SYSTEM TO REMAIN, BUT HOW
 CAN A ROOF SYSTEM GOING TO REMAIN IF THE WALLS WERE
 REMOVED?. PLEASE COORDINATE ALL THE INFORMATION ON
 PLANS.
  
 2- ACCORDING TO FLOOR JOIST LAYOUT ON SHEET S-1.0, THE
 ENTIRE FLOOR FRAMING IS NEW. IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS A
 CRAWL SPACE BELOW FLOOR JOISTS. PROVIDE COMPLETE
 INFORMATION SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R408 OF
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). PROVIDE COMPLETE
 DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS (SIZES, LOCATION, ETC) FOR:
 VENTILATION, ACCESS TO THE CRAWL SPACE. ETC.
  
 3- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND ALL DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. UPDATE THE VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL THE
 SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON THE REVISED PLANS AND ADD THE
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES.
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A) ALL WINDOWS AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) WINDOW MULLIONS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. AND, CLEARLY
 IDENTIFY MULLION SIZE TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 C) EXTERIOR DOOR AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 D) HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF WINDOWS AND DOOR WITH GLAZING
 DON'T HAVE IMPACT GLASS. AND, PROVIDE COMPLETE
 INSTALLATION SCHEDULE. SEE CITY SAMPLE OF SHUTTERS
 INSTALLATION SCHEDULE. OR PROVIDE A DIFFERENT
 INSTALLATION SCHEDULE FORMAT THAT SHOWS ALL THE
 REQUIRED INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE CITY SAMPLE.
  
 E) ROOF SHINGLES. (NO CLEAR IF PART OF THE SCOPE. SEE
 ITEM #1 ABOVE).
  
 F) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS. PROVIDE COPY OF THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR
 ENGINEER OF RECORD TO LIST THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL
 NEXT TO EACH SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 5- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO APPROVE IN WRITING (NOT
 SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 6- WINDOWS DESIGN PRESSURES SHOWN ON SHEET S-0.0 SEEM
 TO BE LOW FOR A BUILDING LOCATED IN EXPOSURE "D" AS
 STATED ON PLANS. PROVIDE CALCULATIONS SHOWING THE
 CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES. SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 7- NEED TO SPECIFY SAFETY GLASS FOR WINDOW LOCATED IN
 THE BATHROOM AND WINDOWS ADJACENT TO THE ENTRY DOOR.
 SEC. R308.4 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 8- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO PROVIDE ALL HIS INFORMATION ON
 THE TITLE BLOCK, INCLUDING THE ENGINEER'S ADDRESS AS
 REQUIRED BY FAC 61G15-23.002.
