 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE

 1) THE COVERSHEET INDICATES IN THE NOTES THE STRUCTURAL
 MODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN DESIGNED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 2010 FBC. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE 2014 FBC, THE 5TH
 EDITION OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE WENT INTO AFFECT
 STATEWIDE JUNE 30/ 2015.

 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 202.4 INDICATES WHAT
 TYPES OF WORK CAN BE BE DEDUCTED FROM THE CONTRACT
 VALUE THEN TAKEN TO SEE WHAT THE 20% DOLLAR VALUE WILL
 BE. THEN SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE
 COST. COSTS THAT MAY BE COUNTED AS EXPENDITURES
 REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF TRAVEL MAY
 INCLUDE: (I) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING AN
 ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE AND AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE
 ALTERED AREA; (II) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MAKING
 RESTROOMS ACCESSIBLE, SUCH AS INSTALLING GRAB BARS,

 1710.10 WHERE THE WOOD BUCK THICKNESS IS 11/2 INCHES
 (38 MM) OR GREATER, THE BUCK SHALL BE SECURELY FASTENED
 TO TRANSFER LOAD TO THE MASONRY, CONCRETE OR OTHER
 STRUCTURAL SUBSTRATE AND THE BUCK SHALL EXTEND BEYOND
 THE INTERIOR FACE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME. WINDOW
 AND DOOR ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE ANCHORED THROUGH THE MAIN
 FRAME OR BY JAMB CLIP OR SUBFRAME SYSTEM OR THROUGH THE
 FLANGE TO THE SECURED WOOD BUCK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 MANUFACTURER?S PUBLISHED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
 UNLESS OTHERWISE TESTED, BUCKS SHALL EXTEND BEYOND THE
 INTERIOR FACE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR FRAME SUCH THAT
 FULL SUPPORT OF THE FRAME IS PROVIDED.

 BEFORE WORK IS STARTED UNDER THIS PERMIT. IF THE
 BUILDING MEETS THE DEFINITION OF RENOVATION UNDER THE
 ENERG CODE IT CLASSIFIES AS TO WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR
 CODE COMPLIANCE. 2014 FBC-ENERGY:
  
 DEFINITIONS : RENOVATED BUILDING. A RESIDENTIAL OR
 NONRESIDENTIAL BUILDING UNDERGOING ALTERATION THAT
 VARIES OR CHANGES INSULATION, HVAC SYSTEMS, WATER

 PROVIDED THE ESTIMATED COST OF RENOVATION EXCEEDS 30
 PERCENT OF THE ASSESSED VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE. PLEASE
 PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 ENERGY CODE C401.2.1 WHICH

 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
