2015-10-21 18:57:16THE PLANS FOR THE ABOVE MENTIONED PERMIT APPLICATION
 HAVE BEEN REVIEWED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2011 EDITION
 OF THE NEC, (NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE); THE 5TH EDITION
 OF THE 2014 FBC, (FLORIDA BUILDING CODE) AS APPLICABLE
 AND BELOW ARE THE DEFICIENCIES NOTED.
 1. YOU SHALL PROVIDE PROOF OF THE RECORDED EASEMENTS
 FOR THE FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT (FPL) UNDERGROUND FEEDERS
 TRAVERSING NEIGHBORING AND NON RELATED PROPERTIES.
 2. THE HOUSE METER AND PANEL ?H? ON THE EXTERIOR OF
 1200 S. LAKE AVENUE, ALONG WITH THE RESPECTIVE
 LANDSCAPE LIGHTING AND ANY INCIDENTAL ATTACHED THERETO
 INDICATED OR NOT ON THE APPROVED PLANS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT.
 3. ALL POOL ELECTRIC SHALL BE UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT.
 4. SPEC NOTE 3, QUOTES NON-APPLICABLE CODES. CORRECT TO
 REFLECT THE CODES IN EFFECT AS INDICATED ABOVE.
 5. SPEC NOTE 9, REFLECTS INCORRECT ARC-FAULT
 REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CURRENT CODE. CORRECT ACCORDINGLY.
 6. SPEC NOTE 10, CONDUCTOR INSULATION HAS NOTHING TO DO
 WITH WIRE GAUGE, BUT WITH INSTALLATION CONDITIONS. THWN
 SHALL BE REQUIRED REGARDLESS OF GAUGE FOR CONDUCTORS IN
 WET LOCATIONS.
 7. GENERAL NOTES 10, REFER TO BX CABLE, CORRECT THAT TO
 REFLECT NM OR AC AS IN THE CURRENT EDITION OF THE NEC.
 8. GENERAL NOTES 11, ALL LUMINARIES SHALL BE GROUNDED
 AS INDICATED IN PART V OF SECTION 410 OF THE 2011 NEC.
 9. ADDITIONAL NOTES REQUIRED:
 A) ALL RECEPTACLES TO BE LISTED TAMPER-RESISTANT ?TR?
 AS REQUIRED IN NEC 406.12.
 B) ALL CEILING LUMINAIRE OUTLETS SHALL BE RATED TO
 SUPPORT 50# AS INDICATED IN NEC 314.27.
 C) RECEPTACLES IN WET LOCATIONS SHALL BE LISTED FOR THE
 PURPOSE ?WR? AS INDICATED IN NEC 406.8
 10. UNIT ?H? FEEDER NOTES, BLDG. GRD. PER NEC 250.66 A
 100 AMP SERVICE REQUIRES A #8CU GEC. *THE 5OHM
 RESISTANCE CALLED FOR ON THE PLANS IS PROBABLY
 UNOBTAINABLE. CODE CALLS FOR 25 OHMS IN NEC 250.53.
 11. ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT THE PANELS SURFACE MOUNTED AS
 INDICATED ON THE RESPECTIVE PANEL SCHEDULES?
 12. PANEL SCHEDULE ?A? CIRCUIT 14 IS LABELED AS
 DISPOSAL YET INDICATED AS D/W ON FLOOR PLAN. CORRECT
 ACCORDINGLY.

 1. INDICATE LOCATION OF ELECTRIC METER & SERVICE
 DISCONNECT ON FLOOR PLAN.
 2. NEC 210.52(E)(3) REQUIRES THAT THERE BE AN OUTLET IN
 THE PORCH AREA.
 3. ROOM A103, OUTLET SPACING SHALL BE AS PER NEC
 210.52(A), CHECK THE NORTH WALL.
 4. THE AREA BETWEEN THE PANTRY AND THE POWDER ROOM IS
 MISSING AN OUTLET. NEC 210.52(A).
 5. ROOM A300 IS MISSING AN OUTLET ON THE EXTERIOR WALL
 OF ROOM A303.
 6. ROOM A307 IS MISSING AN OUTLET ON THE EXTERIOR WALL
 OF ROOM A309.
 7. ROOM A306 REQUIRES A LIGHT CONTROLLED BY A WALL
 SWITCH PER NEC 210.70(A)(3)
 8. IT APPEARS THAT THERE IS AN HVAC UNIT INSIDE THE
 ATTIC, IF THIS IS CASE; NEC 110.33(B) REQUIRES THAT
 THERE BE A PERMANENT LADDER INTO THE ATTIC. OTHER
 SECTIONS OF THE CODE REQUIRE THAT THERE BE A GFI OUTLET
 AND A LIGHT CONTROLLED BY A WALL SWITCH AND NOT A PULL
 CHAIN INSIDE THE ATTIC. THIS LIGHT SWITCH SHOULD HAVE
 AN INDICATOR SO AS NOT TO LEAVE THE LIGHT ON INSIDE THE
 ATTIC WHEN NOT NEEDED.

 1. INDICATE LOCATION OF ELECTRIC METER & SERVICE
 DISCONNECT ON FLOOR PLAN.
 2. NEC 680.10 PROHIBITS ANY UNDERGROUND WIRING FROM
 RUNNING UNDER THE POOL OF WITHIN 5? HORIZONTALLY OF THE
 INSIDE WALL OF THE POOL UNLESS THE WIRING IS DIRECTLY
 RELATED TO THE POOL.
 3. THERE IS A MISSING OUTLET FOR THE SPACE OUTSIDE OF
 THE SOUTH WALL OF ROOM B302.
 4. A FLOOR OUTLET SHALL BE INSTALLED ALONG THE FLOOR
 LINE OF THE STAIR RAILING.
 5. ROOM B200 IS MISSING AN OUTLET ON THE WALL OUTSIDE
 OF THE BATHROOM.
 6. ROOM B307 REQUIRES A LIGHT CONTROLLED BY A WALL
 SWITCH.
  
 THE PLANS SHALL BE REVISED TO ADDRESS THE HEREIN
 MENTIONED ITEMS; ONCE CORRECTED SHALL BE RESUBMITTED
 FOR ANOTHER REVIEW. WHEN RESUBMITTING, YOU ARE REQUIRED
 TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG
 WITH THE STANDARD CITY RE-SUBMITTAL FORM. PLEASE,
 ADDITIONALLY, INSERT CORRECTED PAGES INTO THE SUBMITTAL
 AND LEAVE THE PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS FOR
 COMPARISON. CLOUDING THE CHANGES WILL BE GREATLY
 APPRECIATED.
