 CERTIFICATES ARE PHOTOCOPIED, NOT ORIGINAL SIGNED AND
 SEALED DOCUMENTS FROM THE SURVEYOR. NONE OF THE 300
 SERIES DRAWINGS INDICATE AT WHAT ELEVATION THE PROPOSED
 FLOOR ELEVATION ARE TO BE SET, INCLUDING THE UPPER AND
 LOWER POND LEVELS. THE PONDS SET AT OR BELOW BFE WOULD
 NEED ENGINEERING OR A HYDROSTATIC RELIEF VALVE.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE A SURVEY WITH THE PROPOSED LOCATION OF
 STRUCTURES, THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN AN A-7 FLOOD
 ZONE. FLOOD ZONE CERTIFICATES FBC BUILDING 1612 AND
 CITY OF WPB CODE OF ORDINANCES SECTION 94-546.
 STRUCTURE IS LOCATED IN AN "A" FLOOD ZONE. A FLOOD
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATE WILL BE REQUIRED. PLEASE REVIEW
 CITY ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY REQUIREMENTS REQUIRE AN
 ADDITIONAL 6 INCHES OF ELEVATION. FINISH FLOOR
 ELEVATION OF 12 FT. -
 6 INCHES OR HIGHER.
  
 DURING THE PERMITTING OF THIS STRUCTURE THERE WILL BE
 REQUIRED (3) DIFFERENT FLOOD ZONE CERTIFICATES
 REQUIRED:
 (1) A FLOOD ZONE CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED AS PART OF THE
 PLAN REVIEW DOCUMENTS WITH THE PROPOSED FINISH FLOOR

 (3) BEFORE THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY

 THE PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATES THE PROPOSED VALUE OF
 THIS PROJECT IS $200,000.00 DOLLARS IN VALUE. PLEASE
 PROVIDE COST IN THE PAST FOR THIS STRUCTURE AND THE
 ESTIMATED VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE AS PRESENTLY
 CONFIGURED. THE W. P. B. MUNI CODE DEFINITIONS:
 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT MEANS ANY COMBINATION OF
 REPAIRS, RECONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, OR IMPROVEMENTS TO
 A STRUCTURE, TAKING PLACE DURING THE LIFE OF A
 STRUCTURE, IN WHICH THE CUMULATIVE COST EQUALS OR
 EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE MARKET VALUE OF THE
 STRUCTURE. THE MARKET VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE SHOULD BE
 THE APPRAISED VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE PRIOR TO THE START
 OF THE INITIAL REPAIR OR IMPROVEMENT, OR IN THE CASE OF
 DAMAGE, THE VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE PRIOR TO THE DAMAGE
 OCCURRING. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS DEFINITION,
 "SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT" IS CONSIDERED TO OCCUR WHEN
 THE FIRST ALTERATION OF ANY WALL, CEILING, FLOOR, OR
 OTHER STRUCTURAL PART OF THE BUILDING COMMENCES,
 WHETHER OR NOT THAT ALTERATION AFFECTS THE EXTERNAL
 DIMENSIONS OF THE STRUCTURE. THE TERM "SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT" DOES NOT, HOWEVER, INCLUDE ANY IMPROVEMENT
 OF A STRUCTURE TO COMPLY WITH EXISTING HEALTH,
 SANITARY, OR SAFETY CODES WHICH ARE SOLELY NECESSARY TO

 SEC. 94-546. - PROVISIONS FOR FLOOD HAZARD REDUCTION.
 (2) NONRESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION
 OR SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT OF ANY COMMERCIAL,
 INDUSTRIAL OR OTHER NONRESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE SHALL
 EITHER HAVE THE LOWEST FLOOR, INCLUDING BASEMENT,
 ELEVATED TO THE LEVEL OF SIX INCHES ABOVE THE BASE
 FLOOD ELEVATION OR, TOGETHER WITH ATTENDANT UTILITY AND
 SANITARY FACILITIES, BE FLOOD-PROOFED SO THAT BELOW SIX
 INCHES ABOVE THE FLOOD BASE LEVEL THE STRUCTURE IS
 WATERTIGHT, WITH WALLS SUBSTANTIALLY IMPERMEABLE TO THE
 PASSAGE OF WATER AND WITH STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS HAVING
 THE CAPABILITY OF RESISTING HYDROSTATIC AND
 HYDRODYNAMIC LOADS AND EFFECTS OF BUOYANCY. A
 REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER OR ARCHITECT SHALL
 CERTIFY THAT THE STANDARDS OF THIS SUBSECTION ARE
 SATISFIED. SUCH CERTIFICATION SHALL BE PROVIDED TO THE
 CITY ENGINEER.
  
 NOTE IF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE IS BELOW THE BASE FLOOD
 ELEVATION OF 12 FT. 6 INCHES AND SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENTS ARE OVER THE 50% OF THE ASSESSED VALUE OF
 THE STRUCTURE AND THE OPTION IS TO INSTALL FLOOD VENTS
 TO ALLOW THE WATERS TO FLOW THROUGH AND RECEDE WHEN THE
 FLOOD STAGE IS OVER. PLEASE NOTE ANY NEW WORK
 RESTROOMS, ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT & A/C CONDENSERS WILL
 NEED TO BE SET ABOVE THE 12FT. 6 INCH ELEVATION AND
 FLOOD ELEVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
  
 4) 2ND REQUEST. THE WHOLE AREA EAST OF I-95 FROM
 SOUTHERN BLVD. SOUTH TO THE CITY GOLF COURSE IS IN A
 QUESTIONABLE SOILS ZONE, MUCK AND ORGANICS!!!! THE
 REMOVAL OF A NOTE ON THE STRUCTURAL PAGES DOES NOT
 REMOVE THE LOCATION FROM A QUESTIONABLE SOILS ZONE
 WHERE BEARING VALUES DEPENDS ON THE VALUES FROM THE
 SOILS TEST. THIS REVIEW CYCLE NO SUCH REPORT HAS BEEN
 SUBMITTED. 2014 FBC-B 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOILS. THIS
 REPORT IS ALSO TO PROVIDE WHAT THE MINIMUM SAFE BEARING
 CAPACITY OF THE SOILS WILL BE.

 SEPARATE PERMIT AND PLANS WILL BE REQUIRED.
  
 9) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
