 CHECKLIST.
 CODE: FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- ORIGINALLY THIS HOUSE WAS DESIGNED TO HAVE SHINGLES
 ROOFING. PROPOSAL TO INSTALL CLAY TILES REQUIRES
 ENGINEERING ANALYSIS TO VERIFY IF THE STRUCTURE IS
 ADEQUATE TO RECEIVE THE ADDITIONAL LOAD. SEC. 107.2.1.3
 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 RESPONSE:
 ENGINEER LETTER SUBMITTED:
 (1) IT APPEARS THAT WRONG HOUSE WAS INSPECTED BY THE
 ENGINEER. IT LOOKS LIKE THE ENGINEER INSPECTED THE
 HOUSE LOCATED AT 505 38TH STREET AS STATED ON THE
 LETTER. THE HOUSE FOR THIS PERMIT IS 502 38TH STREET,
 WHICH IS LOCATED ACROSS THE STREET. THE BUILDING
 FRAMING SYSTEM IS DIFFERENT FOR BOTH HOUSES. ONE HOUSE
 WAS BUILT IN 1954 AND THE OTHER ONE WAS BUILT IN 1925.
 THERE MAY NOT BE A TRUSS SYSTEM ON THE HOUSE BUILT IN
 THE 1925'S. ENGINEER TO REVISE ADDRESS AND PROVIDE
 COMPLETE ROOF FRAMING AND SUPPORTING WALLS INFORMATION
 FOR THE CORRECT HOUSE. SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 (2) THE ORIGINAL ROOF COVERING OF THIS HOUSE WAS
 SHINGLES NOT CLAY TILES. REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 (3) ENGINEER TO PROVIDE ALL HIS INFORMATION AND THE
 FIRM CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZATION NUMBER AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 61G15-23.002 AND CHAPTER 471 FLORIDA STATUTE.
  
 2- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR THE TILE ADHESIVE LISTED ON THE
 CLAY TILE NOA.
 (REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL).
  
 3- FLAT ROOF FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FL5680-R15
 SUBMITTED: CLEARLY MARK WHICH APPROVED ASSEMBLY IS
 GOING TO BE INSTALLED TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC. R301. THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED
 IN EXPOSURE "C". IF THE SELECTED ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MEET
 THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR ALL ROOF ZONES, THEN SIGNED
 AND SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS WOULD BE REQUIRED. SEE
 NOTE #8 ON PAGE 2 OF 76.
