 CODE: FBC-5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- BUILDING IS LOCATED IN FLOOD ZONE A5 WITH A BASE
 FLOOD ELEVATION OF 7'-0". ACCORDING TO ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATE ON CITY RECORDS THE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION
 OF THE GARAGE IS 6.6'. THE FINISHED FLOOR ELEVATION
 NEEDS TO BE AT LEAST 6" ABOVE THE BASED FLOOR ELEVATION
 (7'-6"MIN.) OR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW ADDITION
 NEEDS TO COMPLY WITH ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R322
 OF FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014). COORDINATE WITH
 ITEM #3(C) AND #3(D) BELOW.
  
 2- SHEET A-1:
 A) NEED TO SPECIFY CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS WITHIN 10' OF
 EACH SLEEPING ROOM AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R315 OF
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 B) REVISE THE GENERAL NOTES: REFERENCE THE CURRENT CODE
 IN EFFECT 2014 NOT 2010. CHAPTER 553 F.S.
  
 C) SPECIFY FLOOD RESISTANT MATERIALS AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R322.1.8.
  
 D) PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR THE FLOOD VENTS
 SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R322.2.2. CHECK REQUIRED
 NUMBER OF VENTS PER SIDE, LOCATION AND SIZE OF VENTS
 REQUIRED. NOTE: COORDINATE WITH FLOOD VENT PRODUCT
 APPROVAL.
  
 3- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR FLOOD VENTS. NOTE: COORDINATE
 WITH ITEM #3(D) ABOVE.
  
 4- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO APPROVE FLOOD VENTS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS. PLEASE
 PLACE REVIEW STAMP ON THE COVER OF THE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 NOT ON THE BACK. THIS WILL FACILITATE THE SCANNING OF
 ALL DOCUMENTS.
  
 ***PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
 ***PLEASE REPLACE AND REMOVE ANY REVISED DRAWING.
