 CLEAR. CLARIFY WHAT IS THE EXTERNAL = -0.9, INTERNAL -
 0.2 AND NET UPLIFT COEFFICIENT=1.1 AND WHERE WERE IS
 THIS INFORMATION TAKEN FROM. ENGINEER OF RECORD TO
 PROVIDE CLARIFICATION IN WRITING. SEC. 107.2.1 AND
 107.2.1.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL.
  
 2- SEC. R303.9 REQUIRES HEATING. PROVIDE INFORMATION
 SHOWING HOW COMPLYING WITH THE HEAT REQUIREMENTS. PLANS
 DON'T SHOW LOCATION OF THE PROPOSED HEATING UNIT.
 REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL. NEED TO INDICATE
 PROPOSED LOCATION FOR THE HEATING/COOLING UNIT.
 COMPLETE A/C PLANS AND EQUIPMENT SIZING CALCULATIONS
 MAY BE SUBMITTED UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT BUT EQUIPMENT

 A) REVISE ROOF SHEATHING FASTENING TYPE AND SPACING.
 SEE SEC. R803. 2.3.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
 REPEAT COMMENT. ENGINEER NOW SPECIFIED "8D CORREGATED
 NAILS 4" @ EDGE 9" ELSEWHERE". CLEARLY IDENTIFY WHAT'S
 A 8D CORREGATED NAIL. ALSO, TYPE OF NAIL AND SPACING
 LOOKS LESS STRONGER THAN THE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R803.2.3.1. ENGINEER TO PROVIDE CALCULATIONS SHOWING
 THAT THE PROPOSED NAIL TYPE AND SPACING IS EQUAL OR
 BETTER THAN THE REQUIRED BY CODE.
 SEC. 107.2.1.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 B) REVISE ROOF FRAMING FASTENERS. R301.1

 REPEAT COMMENT. FASTENERS SPECIFIED NOW DON'T MATCH
 FASTENERS SPECIFIED ON THE REVISED ROOF FRAMING PLAN.
  
 C) SPECIFY ROOF INSULATION. SEC. R103.2 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION, 5TH EDITION (2014).
 REPEAT COMMENT. ENGINEER SPECIFIED R-30 ROOF
 INSULATION. CLEARLY SPECIFIED WHAT KIND OF INSULATION
 IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED. IF USING R-30 BATT
 INSULATION, THEN IT CAN NOT BE USED BECAUSE R-30 BATT
 INSULATION DOESN'T FIT ON 2 X 8 ROOF RAFTERS. THE
 THICKNESS OF R-30 BATT IS ABOUT 9-1/2". IN ADDITION IT
 DOESN'T ALLOW THE 1" SPACE BETWEEN INSULATION AND ROOF
 SHEATHING REQUIRED BY SEC. R806.3 FOR VENTILATION.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 D) CLARIFY HOW THE SPECIFIED ROOF VENTILATION PROVIDE
 CROSS VENTILATION TO ENTIRE ROOF AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R806 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 REPEAT COMMENT. ENGINEER SPECIFIED 2" HOLE WITH SCREEN
 COVER FOR VENT EVERY OTHER RAFTER @ EA. END. THIS ONLY
 PROVIDES VENTILATION AT EVERY OTHER RAFTER. WHAT ABOUT
 CROSS VENTILATION FOR THE OTHER RAFTERS? .

 REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL. NEED THE NAME OF
 THE PERSON WHO PREPARED THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS. ONLY A
 SIGNATURE WAS PROVIDED. SIGNATURE IS NOT A NAME. UNABLE
 TO IDENTIFY WHO PREPARED THEM.

 5TH EDITION (2014).
 REPEAT COMMENT. SIZE OF EQUIPMENT SPECIFIED ON PREVIOUS
 ENERGY CALCULATIONS WAS TOO BIG NOW SIZE SPECIFIED
 SEEMS TO BE TOO SMALL. THIS NEEDS TO BE COORDINATED
 BEFORE REVISING THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS.
