 CHECKLIST. (REAR BUILDING).
 CODE: FBC-5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 NOTE:
 PLANS WERE REVISED. NEW SCOPE OF WORK IS SHOWN.
 COMMENTS BELOW ARE BASED ON THE NEW PLANS PROVIDED.
  
 1- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION. REVISE
 VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON
 PLANS. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND THE DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 2- PLANS SHOW NEW OPENINGS FOR GARAGE OVERHEAD DOORS.
 PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 THE NEW GARAGE DOORS. SPECIFY REINFORCEMENT AT THE ENDS
 OF EACH OPENING. SPECIFY LINTEL OR BEAM, SPECIFY
 STRUCTURAL BUCK ATTACHMENT, ETC. SEC. R301 OF
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 3- ACCORDING TO NEW PLANS PROVIDED, THIS IS ALTERATION
 LEVEL 3 NOT ALTERATION LEVEL 2. REVISE DESIGN CRITERIA
 INFORMATION AS REQUIRED. SEC. 505 OF FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 4- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R101.4.3 OF FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 5TH
 EDITION (2014).
 NOTE: ONLY THE FRONT BUILDING IS CONTRIBUTING HISTORIC
 BUILDING. THE REAR BUILDING IS NOT. THEREFORE, IT'S NOT
 EXEMPT FROM THE ENERGY CODE.
  
 5- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR THE INSWING DOOR SHOWN ON THE
 FIRST FLOOR PLAN.
  
 6- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO APPROVE ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS
 AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 7- PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 DWELLING/GARAGE FIRE SEPARATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R302.6 OF FBC RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 8- PROVIDE INFORMATION SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 HEATING REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R303.9 OF FBC RESIDENTIAL,
 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 9- SHOW CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS WITHIN 10 FEET OF
 SLEEPING ROOMS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R315.1. NOTE: THERE
 IS A NEW GARAGE BELOW THE DWELLING UNIT.
  
 ****ENGINEER OF RECORD TO PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER
 ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
