 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THE PLANS HAVE SEVERAL REFERENCES TO THE 2010 FBC.
 THE FBC FIFTH EDITION (2014) WENT INTO EFFECT ON JUNE
 30, 2015. ALL NEW PERMITS APPLIED FOR ON OR AFTER THAT
 DATE ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH AND REFERENCE THE FBC
 FIFTH EDITION. THIS PROJECT SHOULD REFERENCE THE FBC
 FIFTH EDITION (2014) RESIDENTIAL.
  
 2) THE COMPONENT AND CLADDING PRESSURES ON SHEET A1.00
 ARE FOR 10 SQFT WITH A 15' MEAN ROOF HEIGHT. THIS TWO
 STORY HOUSE WITH A MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF AROUND 23 FEET.
 THE DETACHED GARAGE HAS A MRH OF ABOUT 12 FEET. FBC -
 R301.2.1
  
 3) THE OCCUPANCY TYPE IS R-3 PER FBC 301.
  
 4) THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE IS V-B PER FBC 602.
  
 5) R401.3 DRAINAGE. SURFACE DRAINAGE SHALL BE DIVERTED
 TO A STORM SEWER CONVEYANCE OR OTHER APPROVED POINT OF
 COLLECTION THAT DOES NOT CREATE A HAZARD. LOTS SHALL BE
 GRADED TO DRAIN SURFACE WATER AWAY FROM FOUNDATION
 WALLS. THE GRADE SHALL FALL A MINIMUM OF 6 INCHES (152
 MM) WITHIN THE FIRST 10 FEET (3048 MM).
 EXCEPTION: WHERE LOT LINES, WALLS, SLOPES OR OTHER
 PHYSICAL BARRIERS PROHIBIT 6 INCHES (152 MM) OF FALL
 WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM), DRAINS OR SWALES SHALL BE
 CONSTRUCTED TO ENSURE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE.
 IMPERVIOUS SURFACES WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM) OF THE
 BUILDING FOUNDATION SHALL BE SLOPED A MINIMUM OF 2
 PERCENT AWAY FROM THE BUILDING.
 SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF A SURFACE WATER DRAINAGE PLAN.
  
 6) ON SHEET S1.00 THE FOOTINGS FOR THE INTERIOR WALLS
 ON THE FOUNDATION PLAN ARE INCORRECTLY MARKED DETAIL #3
 AND THE SHOULD BE DETAIL #4. FBC 107.2.1
  
 7) PROVIDE A LINTEL SCHEDULE ON THE PLANS. FBC107.2.1
  
 8) R905.11.1 SLOPE. MODIFIED BITUMEN MEMBRANE ROOFS
 SHALL HAVE A DESIGN SLOPE OF A MINIMUM OF ONE-FOURTH
 UNIT VERTICAL IN 12 UNITS HORIZONTAL (2-PERCENT SLOPE)
 FOR DRAINAGE. (GARAGE)
  
 9) R318.5 PROTECTION AGAINST DECAY AND TERMITES.
 GUTTERS WITH DOWNSPOUTS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL BUILDINGS
 WITH EAVES OF LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM) HORIZONTAL
 PROJECTION EXCEPT FOR GABLE END RAKES OR ON A ROOF

 10) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WITH FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH OF
 THE DIFFERENT ROOFING MATERIALS, WINDOW/GLASS TYPES,
 STRUCTURAL MULLIONS AND EXTERIOR DOOR TYPES.
  
 11 ) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIMES AND PROVIDE
 CLARIFICATION, PLEASE SUBMIT A RESPONSE LETTER
 INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW COMMENTS HAS BEEN
 ADDRESSED.
