 PLANS ARE REJECTED (3) OR MORE TIMES FOR REPEATED
 FAILURE TO CORRECT A CODE VIOLATION.

 PLANS.SHEET B1. THE PLANS SHOW THE FLOOR LAYOUT OF 2
 NEW SPRAY BOOTHS AND A MIXING ROOM WHERE THERE IS
 ANOTHER DETAIL SHOWING A SINGLE SPRAY BOOTH AND MIXING
 ROOM ATTACHED. PLEASE REPRESENT THE ACTUAL LAYOUT NOT A
 GENERIC SHEET THAT COVERS ALL INSTALLATIONS.

 PROTECTION.
 AN AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM OR FIRE-EXTINGUISHING
 SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED IN ALL SPRAY, DIP AND
 IMMERSING SPACES AND STORAGE ROOMS AND SHALL BE
 INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 9.

 COMMENT # 1 1ST REVIEW.THE PLAN LABELED B-1 SHOWS THE
 SPRAY BOOTH AGAINST THE EXTERIOR WALL. THE 2014 FBC-B
 416.4 SPRAY BOOTHS SHALL BE DESIGNED, CONSTRUCTED AND
 OPERATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION
 CODE. THE PLAN SHOWS THE SPRAY BOOTH AGAINST THE
 EXTERIOR WALLS.
 NFPA 33 5.3 REQUIRES THE SPRAY BOOTH TO BE A 1 HOUR
 CONSTRUCTION AND AT LEAST 3 FEET AWAY FROM THE EXTERIOR
 WALL. EXCEPTION # 2 WILL ALLOW THE UNIT TO BE CLOSER
 THAN 3 FT IF THE SPRAY BOOTH CAN BE MAINTAINED AND
 CLEANED. PLEASE PROVIDE THE MANUFACTURERS
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE ONE HOUR FIRE RATING AS WELL AS
 SHOWING HOW THE UNIT WILL BE MAINTAINED AND KEPT CLEAN.
  
 2) COMPLIED. SHEET B-2 SHOWS A DETAIL WHERE CEILING
 JOIST/ RAFTERS WITH ONE CEILING JOIST/ RAFTER IS CUT
 AND HEADERS ATTACHED. THE PLANS FAIL TO SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH 2014 FBC-B 2308.10.4.3 FRAMING AROUND HOLES.
 TRIMMERS AND HEADERS RAFTERS SHALL BE DOUBLED, OR OF
 LUMBER OF EQUIVALENT CROSS SECTION, WHERE THE SPAN OF
 THE HEADER EXCEEDS 4 FEET. THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE
 WHAT THE DOUBLE LINES REPRESENT, THE OUTER BAND IS PAST
 THE FRAMING MEMBER WHICH WILL REQUIRE THE FRAMING
 HEADER TO GO TO THE NEXT RAFTER. THE PLANS ALSO WILL
 NEED TO INDICATE THE TYPE OF HANGER/ BUCKET TO BE USED
 IN THIS INSTALATION FOR BOTH THE HEADER AND THE CUT
 RAFTERS.
