 2001) S2, STORAGE.
  
 A SEARCH OF BUSINESS TAX RECEIPTS DOES NOT SHOW A
 BUSINESS TAX AT THIS UNIT.
  
 SEE FBC 2010 107.2.1:
  
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT CLARITY
 TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK
 PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES,
 RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL. SUCH DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHALL
 CONTAIN INFORMATION, IN THE FORM OF NOTES OR OTHERWISE,
 AS TO THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS, WHERE QUALITY IS
 ESSENTIAL TO CONFORMITY WITH THE TECHNICAL CODES.
  
 APPLICATION AND PLANS ARE TO MODIFY A MECHANICAL
 SYSTEM. OTHER DOCUMENTS INDICATE THAT THIS IS A CHANGE
 OF OCCUPANCY. SEE THE DEFINITION OF S2 (LOW HAZARD
 STORAGE). THIS CLASSIFICATION IS FOR THE STORAGE OF NON
 COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS. BASED ON THE DOCUMENTS PROVIDED,
 THE PROPOSED USE IS NOT "STORAGE OF NON COMBUSTIBLE
 MATERIALS."
  
 "A" SHEETS WERE SUBMITTED BUT NOTHING ON THESE SHEETS
 INDICATE THAT THIS IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY. IT IS NOT
 CLEAR HOW ENGINEER CONSIDERED THIS ISSUE ADDRESSED.
 LACK OF AN "A" SHEET AND MECHANICAL/STRUCTURAL ONLY
 WOULD HAVE EXCLUDED LIFE SAFETY / CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 ISSUES FROM THIS PLAN. INCLUSION OF AN "A" SHEET
 IMPLIES THAT LIFE SAFETY / CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY WAS
 ADDRESSED. IT IS NOT CLEAR WHY "A" SHEETS WERE
 SUBMITTED BUT NOTHING WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN SHOWN ON
 THESE SHEETS WERE INCLUDED IN THE PLAN.
  
 SEE FBC 105.1 REQUIRED. ANY CONTRACTOR, OWNER, OR AGENT
 AUTHORIZED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 489 WHO
 INTENDS TO ... CHANGE THE OCCUPANCY OF A BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE, ... , OR TO CAUSE ANY SUCH WORK TO BE DONE,
 SHALL FIRST MAKE APPLICATION TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL
 AND OBTAIN THE REQUIRED PERMIT. (REFER TO CODE FOR FULL
 TEXT; THIS HAS BEEN SHORTENED TO INCLUDE ONLY THE
 PORTION PERTINENT TO THIS PROJECT).
  
 EITHER PROVIDE A PERMIT NUMBER FOR THE CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY FROM S2 (05020247) OR A QUALIFIED DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL IS TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY.

 111.1 USE AND OCCUPANCY. NO BUILDING OR STRUCTURE SHALL
 BE USED OR OCCUPIED, AND NO CHANGE IN
 THE EXISTING OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OF A BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE OR PORTION THEREOF SHALL BE MADE, UNTIL
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL HAS ISSUED A CERTIFICATE OF
 OCCUPANCY THEREFORE AS PROVIDED HEREIN. ISSUANCE OF A
 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS AN
 APPROVAL OF A VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
 CODE OR OF OTHER ORDINANCES OF THE JURISDICTION. SAID
 CERTIFICATE SHALL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL ALL REQUIRED
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND FIRE
 PROTECTION SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN INSPECTED FOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE TECHNICAL CODES AND OTHER
 APPLICABLE LAWS AND ORDINANCES AND RELEASED BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL.
