 DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THE PLANS SPECIFY THAT THE EXISTING ASPHALT SHINGLE
 ROOF ON THE MAIN HOUSE IS TO BE REPLACED WITH A
 CONCRETE TILE ROOF. THE EXISTING ROOF IS REQUIRED TO BE
 EVALUATED BY A FLORIDA LICENSED STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TO
 DETERMINE THAT IT IS CAPABLE OF SAFELY SUPPORTING ALL
 LOADS, INCLUDING DEAD LOADS, LIVE LOADS AND WINDS
 LOADS. FBC - R301.1
  
 2) THE ROOF NOTES FOR THE PROPOSED DETACHED GARAGE ON
 A-3 INCORRECTLY STATE REPLACE ASPHALT SHINGLES WITH
 TILE. PLEASE CORRECT. FBC 107.2.1
  
 3) THE WORK THAT IS BEING DONE TO THE EXISTING BUILDING
 INVOLVES RECONFIGURING SPACE AND THE WORK AREA EXCEEDS
 50 PERCENT OF THE BUILDING AREA. THIS CLASSIFIES IT AS
 LEVEL 3 ALTERATION PER FBC EXISTING BUILDING CHAPTER 4.
 THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IS REQUIRED TO NOTE THE LEVEL
 OF ALTERATION ON THE PLANS PER SECTION 401.4.
  
 4) THE VALUE OF THE ALTERATION WORK EXCEEDS 30 PERCENT
 OF THE ASSESSED VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE AND IS
 CONSIDERED A RENOVATED BUILDING BY THE 2010 FBC ENERGY
 CONSERVATION. SUBMIT TWO SETS OF ENERGY CALCULATIONS
 SHOWING THAT THE RENOVATED BUILDING COMPLIES WITH THE
 ENERGY CODE. FBC ENERGY CONSERVATION 401.2
  
 5) THE PLANS SPECIFY A 4 PLY 2 X 12 WOOD BEAM AT THE
 OPENING FROM THE DINING ROOM TO THE FAMILY ROOM THAT
 WILL SUPPORT THE ALTERED ROOF TRUSSES. SPECIFY THE
 FOOTING SIZES AND REINFORCEMENT THAT WILL BE REQUIRED
 AT THE LOAD BEARING ENDS OF THIS BEAM. FBC-R301.1
  
 6) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL THAT WAS SUBMITTED HAS THE TWO
 #8 SCREW MECHANICAL ATTACHMENT MARKED. THE PLANS
 SPECIFY A FOAM-ON TILE APPLICATION AND A PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR AH-160 FOAM ROOF TILE ADHESIVE WAS
 SUBMITTED. PLEASE CLARIFY THE INSTALLATION THAT WILL BE
 USED.
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH TERMITE PROTECTION AT THE
 PROPOSED GARAGE. FBC - R 318
  
 8) IN DETAIL B ON S-2 THE INTERIOR FOOTING REINFORCING
 BARS ARE REQUIRED TO BE LAPPED AT THE CORNERS LIKE THE
 OUTSIDE BARS IN ORDER TO BE CONTINUOUS.
  
 9) ON SHEET S-2 THE GARAGE FOOTING IS SPECIFIED AS 20"
 X 16" IN THE SCHEDULE AND AT SECTION C IT IS 16" X 16"
 ,AS WELL AS, 1' 4" (16") X 1' 10" (22"). PLEASE CORRECT
 SUCH THAT THE FOOTING SIZES ARE CONSISTENT. FBC 107.2.1
  
 10) SPECIFY THE MAXIMUM SPACING OF THE VERTICALLY
 REINFORCED FILLED CELLS IN THE EXTERIOR WALLS OF THE
 PROPOSED GARAGE. FBC - R 609.3.3
  
 11) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA RULE 9N-3
 THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS WITH FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION
 INSTRUCTIONS AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH OF
