 AS A F1 OCCUPANCY. WHERE THE PLANS INDICATE A MIXED USE
 OCCUPANCY BETWEEN A F-1 AND STORAGE OCCUPANCY AND
 OFFICE AS A ACCESSORY OCCUPANCY. WHERE LESS THAN 10% OF
 THE FLOOR AREA OF THE BUILDING IS USED IN A OCCUPANCY
 TYPE IT IS CONSIDERED A ACCESSORY OCCUPANCY. OVER 10 %
 OF THE BUILING FLOOR AREA IT IS CONSIDERED A MIXED USE
 BUILDING. THE QUESTION IS IF THE STORAGE OCCUPANCY IS
 TO BE CONSIDERED A S1 OR S2. THE S2 OCCUPANCY DOES
 INCLUDE FROZEN FOODS, FOOD PRODUCT AND THIS IS THE
 QUESTION, DAIRY PRODUCTS IN NONWAXED COATED PAPER
 CONTAINERS? HOW IS THE ICE CREAM PACKAGED?
  
 2) TABLE 508.4 DOES NOT REQUIRE OCCUPANCY SEPARATION
 BETWEEN THE F1 & S1 WHEREAS THE F1 & S2 DOES REQUIRE
 SEPARATION, 2 HR IF NON-SPRINKLERED & 1 HOUR FOR
 SPRINKLERED. THE OTHER OPTION IS TO REVIEW THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF NON-SEPARATED OCCUPANCIES FOUND UNDER
 FBC-B 508.3.
  
 3) THE OCCUPANCY COUNT IS TAKEN ON THE WHOLE OF THE
 FACILITY BEING F1 AND THE OCCUPANT LOAD TAKEN AT 100
 SQ. FT/ PER OCCUPANT. STORAGE STOCK AND SHIPPING ARE TO
 BE TAKEN AT 300 GROSS AND BUSINESS AT 100 GROSS. PLEASE
 REVISE THE OCCUPANCY COUNT. 2010 FBC-B TABLE 1004.1.1.
  
 4) THE COVERSHEET INDICATES THIS BUILDING NOT FIRE
 SPRINKLERED AND ADDS THE STATEMENT EXIT TRAVEL 200 FT.

 FIRE SPRINKLERED BUT THE TRAVEL DISTANCE IS STILL AT
 200 FT, TAKEN FOR F1 NON-FIRE SPRINKLERED? SEE FBC-B

 COMBINED THEY ARE WELL OVER 400 SQ. FT. IN AREA. FBC-B
 2603.4.1.3 IN NON-SPRINKLERED BUILDINGS LIMITS THE AREA
 TO A AGGREGATE AREA OF 400 SQ. FT.
  
 6A) THE WALK IN CCOLER & FREEZERS ARE TO BE UNDER
 SEPARATE PERMIT WITH ASSOCIATED FEES. THEY WILL NEED TO
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2603.4.1.2 (1-4). THEY WILL ALSO
 NEED TO SUPPLY FRAMING SPANS FOR THE WALLS & CEILING,
 SHOW ALLOWABLE DEFLECTION LIMITS FBC-B TABLE 1604.3.
  
 6B) THE FREEZER APPEARS IT MAY BE LARGER THAN 1000 SQ,
 FT. IF SO IT WILL NEED TO COMPLY WITH 1015.5 ALSO SEE
 EXCEPTION. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT FOR UNSPRINKLERED
 BUILDINGS COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL IS LIMITED TO 50 FT.

 ON CURBS. NOTE THERE ARE NO STRUCTURAL SHEETS SHOWING
 THE NEW HOLES CUT INTO THE ROOF DECK, NOR IS THERE
 INFORMATION IF THE EXISTING FRAMING SYSTEM WILL TAKE ON
 THE ADDITIONAL POINT LOADING OR CONCENTRATED LOADS
