 UPON APPLICATION AND FEE PAYMENT DESIGN DOCUMENTS
 SUBMISSION OPTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
 1 UPLOAD VIA THE PROJECT DOX PORTAL WITH DIGITAL
 SIGNATURES OF DESIGN PROFESSIONALS AS APPLICABLE; USE
 THE REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 2 INCLUDE ON A CD IF DESIGN PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL
 SIGNATURES ARE PROVIDED AS REQUIRED; USE THE REQUIRED
 NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 3 INCLUDE ON A CD WITH ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER
 DESIGN DOCUMENTS SIGNED AND SEALED AS REQUIRED; USE THE
 REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 4 ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER DESIGN DOCUMENTS SUBJECT
 TO ADMINISTRATIVE FEES TO DIGITIZE THE DOCUMENTS

 1) THIS SET OF PLANS WAS BROUGHT IN AS A REVISION BUT
 HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY.
 SHEETS A3.04 - A3.08 NOTE 88 INDICATES THIS IS A (1)
 HOUR FIRE RATED WALL THAT SEPARATES THE STORE TENANCY
 FROM THE LANDLORD COMMON AREAS. SEE THE DIFINITION OF
 GROSS LEASABLE AREA:
 GROSS LEASABLE AREA. THE TOTAL FLOOR AREA DESIGNED FOR
 TENANT OCCUPANCY AND EXCLUSIVE USE. THE AREA OF TENANT
 OCCUPANCY IS MEASURED FROM THE CENTERLINES OF JOINT
 PARTITIONS TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE TENANT WALLS. ALL
 TENANT AREAS, INCLUDING AREAS USED FOR STORAGE, SHALL
 BE INCLUDED IN CALCULATING GROSS LEASABLE AREA.
 THE WORK BEING COMPLETED UNDER THE LANDLORD COMMON
 AREAS CAN BE ONE SEPARATE PERMIT FOR THE (5) AREAS OF
 WORK. WHEN PLANS COME IN FOR SIGNAGE, THEN EACH
 TENACNCY WOULD REQUIRE THEIR OWN SIGN PERMITS.
  
 2) THIS PLAN ON THE ARCHITECTURAL SHEETS AND STUCTURAL
 SHEETS S-2.2 & S-3.0 SHOW STEEL COLUMNS, ANGLE BRACING,
 BRIDGING AND STEEL BEAMS THAT WILL REQUIRE
 FIELD WELDING AND BOLTABLE CONNECTIONS. THIS TYPE OF
 CONSTRUCTION WILL REQUIRE A RESIDENT INSPECTOR.
 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 110.3.9 OTHER
 INSPECTIONS SERVICES. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY MAKE,
 OR CAUSE TO BE MADE BY OTHERS, THE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED
 BY SECTION 109. HE/SHE MAY ACCEPT REPORTS OF INSPECTORS
 OF RECOGNIZED INSPECTION SERVICES, PROVIDED THAT AFTER
 INVESTIGATION HE/SHE IS SATISFIED AS TO THEIR
 QUALIFICATIONS AND RELIABILITY. A CERTIFICATE CALLED
 FOR BY ANY PROVISION OF THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT
 BE BASED ON SUCH REPORTS UNLESS THE SAME ARE IN WRITING
 AND CERTIFIED BY A RESPONSIBLE OFFICER OF SUCH SERVICE.
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY REQUIRE THE OWNER TO EMPLOY
 AN INSPECTION SERVICE IN THE FOLLOWING INSTANCES:
  
 1. FOR BUILDINGS OR ADDITIONS OF TYPE I OR II
 CONSTRUCTION
 2. FOR ALL MAJOR STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS
 3. WHERE THE CONCRETE DESIGN IS BASED ON COMPRESSIVE
 STRENGTH (F ?C) IN EXCESS OF 3000
 POUNDS PER SQUARE INCH
 4. FOR PILE DRIVING
 5. FOR BUILDINGS WITH AREA GREATER THAN 20,000 SQUARE
 FOOT
 6. FOR BUILDINGS MORE THAN 2 STORIES IN HEIGHT
 7. FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES OF UNUSUAL DESIGN OR
 METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION
  
 2A) FOR THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR PLEASE PROVIDE A RESUME'
 OF INSPECTION EXPERIENCE ON PREVIOUS PROJECT. THE
 RESUME' MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ALL CERTIFICATES AS
 SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR HIS DESIGNEE
 WILL REVIEW THE RESUME'. AFTER THE RESUME' IS REVIEWED,
 AN INTERVIEW WILL BE SCHEDULED. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES
 WILL AN INSPECTOR BE INTERVIEWED FOR WORK WITHOUT FIRST
 MEETING THE ABOVE CRITERIA.

 BATCH STAMPED PLANS SO YOU MAY PRINT YOUR PLANS, TWO
 SETS OF PLANS WILL NEED TO BE PRINTED IN COLOR, (1) FOR
 THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR, THE OTHER FOR THE MEP
 INSPECTORS.

 IN-PROGRESS INSPECTIONS FOR AUDITING OF JOBSITE
 INSPECTIONS.
  
 3) THE PLANS FAIL TO INDICATE COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 PROTECTION OF PEDESTRIANS INTO EACH OF THE TENANCIES
 WHILE WORK ON THE COVERED ENTRY ENTRY WAYS ARE UNDER
 CONSTRUCTION. 2010 FBC-B 3306.5 BARRIERS & 3306.7
 COVERED WALKWAYS.
  
 4) [F] 3309.1 WHERE REQUIRED. ALL STRUCTURES UNDER
 CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION OR DEMOLITION SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WITH NOT LESS THAN ONE APPROVED PORTABLE FIRE
 EXTINGUISHER IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 906.
  
 5) 3309.2 FIRE HAZARDS. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND
 THE FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE SHALL BE STRICTLY
 OBSERVED TO SAFEGUARD AGAINST ALL FIRE HAZARDS
 ATTENDANT UPON CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS.
  
 6) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH: 3310.2 MAINTENANCE OF MEANS OF
 EGRESS. REQUIRED MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL BE MAINTAINED AT
 ALL TIMES DURING CONSTRUCTION, DEMOLITION, REMODELING
 OR ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO ANY BUILDING.
