 SIGNATURES OF DESIGN PROFESSIONALS AS APPLICABLE; USE
 THE REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 2 INCLUDE ON A CD IF DESIGN PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL
 SIGNATURES ARE PROVIDED AS REQUIRED; USE THE REQUIRED
 NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 3 INCLUDE ON A CD WITH ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER
 DESIGN DOCUMENTS SIGNED AND SEALED AS REQUIRED; USE THE
 REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 4 ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER DESIGN DOCUMENTS SUBJECT

 CONTRACTOR IS NOT LICENSE TO DO HIS WORK. SPECIALTY
 CONTRACTOR STANDARDS
 "SPECIALTY CONTRACTORS" ARE THOSE WHO CAN QUALIFY WITH
 A MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS EXPERIENCE, 1-1/2 YEARS OF
 WHICH MUST BE IN A SUPERVISORY CAPACITY, WHO SPECIALIZE
 IN ONE OR MORE OF THE CRAFTS OF THE BUILDING
 CONSTRUCTION AND RELATED CONTRACTING TRADES. A
 CERTIFIED SPECIALTY CONTRACTOR SHALL BE ABLE TO
 SUBCONTRACT ANY WORK INCIDENTAL TO THE WORK OF THEIR
 SPECIALTY CERTIFICATION. INCIDENTAL-FOR THE PURPOSE OF
 THIS DOCUMENT INCIDENTAL SHALL MEAN WORK OF A NATURE
 EXPECTED TO BE REQUIRED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF A
 CONTRACT. SUCH WORK SHALL NOT BE THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF
 THE CONTRACT NOR EXCEED 49% OF THE TOTAL PRIME
 CONTRACT.
  
 CARPENTRY CONTRACTORS ARE THOSE WHO HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE
 AND SKILL TO INSTALL, MAINTAIN, REPAIR, ALTER OR EXTEND
 ANY WOOD PRODUCTS AND THEIR REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS IN OR
 ON A BUILDING INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ROUGH
 FRAMING, STRUCTURAL AND NONSTRUCTURAL TRUSSES,
 CONVENTIONAL RAFTERS, METAL FRAMING, AND WOODEN
 FENCING; ALSO INCLUDES THE WORK OF THE CARPENTRY-FINISH
 CONTRACTOR.
  
 2) KASICA INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION INC./ CARPENTRY
 CONTRACTOR IS NOT LICENSE TO DESIGN IN HIGH RISE
 CONSTRUCTION. 107.3.4.3 CERTIFICATIONS BY CONTRACTORS
 AUTHORIZED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 489.115
 FLORIDA STATUTES, SHALL BE CONSIDERED EQUIVALENT TO
 SEALED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS BY A PERSON LICENSED
 UNDER CHAPTER 471, FLORIDA STATUTES, OR CHAPTER 481
 FLORIDA STATUTES, BY LOCAL ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES FOR
 PLANS REVIEW FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES RELATING TO
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE WIND-RESISTANCE PROVISIONS OF THE
 CODE OR ALTERNATE METHODOLOGIES APPROVED BY THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING COMMISSION FOR ONE AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS.
 LOCAL ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES MAY RELY UPON SUCH
 CERTIFICATION BY CONTRACTORS THAT THE PLANS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS SUBMITTED CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 THE CODE FOR WIND RESISTANCE. UPON GOOD CAUSE SHOWN,
 LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES MAY ACCEPT
 OR REJECT PLANS SEALED BY PERSONS LICENSED UNDER
 CHAPTERS 471,481 OR 489, FLORIDA STATUTES.
  
 3)SHEET 1.1 DESIGN PARAMETERS.
 3A) THE WIND DESIGN IS DESIGNED TO THE WRONG ASCE 7-05.
 THE CURRENT CODE REQUIRES HIGH-RISE STRUCTURES TO BE
 DESIGNED TO ASCE 7-10. 2010 FBC-B 1609.1.1.
  
 3B) THE PLANS INDICATE THE PLANS WERE DESIGNED TO THE
 2010 FBC RESIDENTIAL CODE, THE RESIDENTIAL CODE IS FOR
 1 & 2 FAMILY DWELLINGS. CONDOMINIUM ARE COMMENRCIAL AND
 DESIGNED UNDER THE 2010 FBC-BUILDING.
  
 3C) OCCUPANCY TYPE STATES R3 / CONDOMINIUM. PLEASE
 REVIEW THE 2010 FBC-B SECTION 310 R-2 IS CONDOMINIUM/
 APARTMENT HOUSES.
  
 4) THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA ALSO STATES THE WIND
 EXPOSURE TO BE A "C" EXPOSURE. 2010 FBC-B 1609.1.1
 DETERMINATION OF WIND DESIGN- CHAPTER 6 OF ASCE 7-10.
 AN EXPOSURE CATEGORY SHALL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH 1609.4.3 & ASCE 7-10. EXPOSURE D. EXPOSURE D SHALL
 APPLY WHERE THE GROUND SURFACE ROUGHNESS, AS DEFINED BY
 SURFACE ROUGHNESS D, PREVAILS IN THE UPWIND DIRECTION
 FOR A DISTANCE OF AT LEAST 5,000 FEET (1524 M) OR 20
 TIMES THE HEIGHT OF THE BUILDING, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
 EXPOSURE D SHALL EXTEND INLAND FROM THE SHORELINE FOR A
 DISTANCE OF 600 FEET (183 M) OR 20 TIMES THE HEIGHT OF
 THE BUILDING, WHICHEVER IS GREATER FROM AN EXPOSURE D
 CONDITION AS DEFINED IN THE PREVIOUS SENTENCE.
  
 5) THE SUBMITTED PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR SLIDDING GLASS
 DOORS ARE NOT CIRCLED FOR HEIGHT, WIDTH, TYPE OF
 GLAZING, TRACK HEIGHT, TYPE OF ANCHOR AND ASSOCIATED
 PRESSURES IF REINFORCING IS REQUIRED IN STYLES ETC...
 107.2.4 EXTERIOR WALL ENVELOPE. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR ALL BUILDINGS SHALL DESCRIBE THE EXTERIOR WALL
 ENVELOPE IN SUFFICIENT DETAIL TO DETERMINE COMPLIANCE
 WITH THIS CODE. THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL
 PROVIDE DETAILS OF THE EXTERIOR WALL ENVELOPE AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 6) 2010 FBC 107.3.4.1 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS
 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF
 RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..
  
 7) THE PLANS INDICATE THE FLOORS ARE GOING TO BE
 REPLACED AND NEEDING SOUND INSULATION, PLEASE COMPLY
 WITH:

 7A) FBC-B 2010 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND.
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 492.
  
 7B) FBC-B 2010 1207.2 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND.
 WALLS, PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES
 SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM
 PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION
 CLASS (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED)
 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E 90.
  
 7C) FLAME SPREAD- FBC-B 2010 603.1.2 EXCEPTION 2.
 INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED FLOOR AND SOLID
 DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE SHALL BE ALLOWED
 TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 200.
  
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX. A COMPARATIVE MEASURE, EXPRESSED AS
 A DIMENSIONLESS NUMBER, DERIVED FROM VISUAL
 MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPREAD OF FLAME VERSUS TIME FOR A
 MATERIAL TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 703.4 NONCOMBUSTIBILITY TESTS.
 THE TESTS INDICATED IN SECTIONS 703.4.1 AND 703.4.2
 SHALL SERVE AS CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE OF BUILDING
 MATERIALS AS SET FORTH IN SECTIONS 602.2, 602.3 AND
 602.4 IN TYPE I, II, III AND IV CONSTRUCTION. THE TERM
 ?NONCOMBUSTIBLE? DOES NOT APPLY TO THE FLAME SPREAD
 CHARACTERISTICS OF INTERIOR FINISH OR TRIM MATERIALS. A
 MATERIAL SHALL NOT BE CLASSIFIED AS A NONCOMBUSTIBLE
 BUILDING CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL IF IT IS SUBJECT TO AN
 INCREASE IN COMBUSTIBILITY OR FLAME SPREAD BEYOND THE
 LIMITATIONS HEREIN ESTABLISHED THROUGH THE EFFECTS OF
 AGE, MOISTURE OR OTHER ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS.
  
 703.4.1 ELEMENTARY MATERIALS.
 MATERIALS REQUIRED TO BE NONCOMBUSTIBLE SHALL BE TESTED
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 136.
  
 703.4.2 COMPOSITE MATERIALS.
 MATERIALS HAVING A STRUCTURAL BASE OF NONCOMBUSTIBLE
 MATERIAL AS DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 703.4.1 WITH A SURFACING NOT MORE THAN 0.125 INCH (3.18
 MM) THICK THAT HAS A FLAME SPREAD INDEX NOT GREATER
 THAN 50 WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL
 723 SHALL BE ACCEPTABLE AS
 NONCOMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS.
  
 8) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
