| 1) PLEASE REFER TO SHEETS M2.1.1 AND A3.3: THE SURVEY |
| IS INDICATING AN ALLEYWAY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE |
| BUILDING SPANNING 14'4" TO THE ADJOINING PROPERTY LINE. |
| THE NORTH IS THE LOCATION SIDE FOR MANY AIR INTAKE |
| INLETS AND EXHAUST OUTLETS FROM THE GROUND FLOOR TO THE |
| SIXTH FLOOR PARKING LEVELS. THERE ARE SEVERAL ISSUES |
| HERE THAT MAY HAVE GONE UNNOTICED BY THE DESIGN |
| PROFESSIONALS. A) SECTION 401.4 (1) FBC-10 MECHANICAL: |
| THIS SECTION IS REQUIRING A 10' CLEARANCE DISTANCE TO |
| LOT LINES FOR INTAKE OPENINGS, HOWEVER THE DISTANCE IS |
| TO BE MEASURED TO THE CENTER OF THE STREET OR PUBLIC |
| WAY. THE ALLEY WAY CENTERLINE IS 7'2" WHICH WOULD MEAN |
| THE AIR INLET LOCATIONS DO NOT APPEAR TO MEET THE CODE. |
| B) REFER TO SECTION 501.2.1.1: THIS SECTION PROHIBITS |
| EXHAUST TO BE DIRECTED ONTO WALKWAYS. IT APPEARS BY THE |
| DRAWINGS THAT THE GARAGE AND GENERATOR EXHAUST |
| TERMINATIONS ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE. C) REFER TO |
| SECTIONS 401.4(2) AND 401.4.1: IT APPEARS BY THESE CODE |
| SECTIONS THAT THE GENERATOR EXHAUST TERMINATION MAY BE |
| LOCATED TOO CLOSE TO THE GRAVITY OPENING INTO THE |
| GENERATOR ROOM. |
| 2) REGARDING THE MITSUBISHI PIPING DIAGRAMS, I AM STILL |
| SEEING AC 2-5 IN THE DIAGRAM BUT NOT IN THE AC |
| SCHEDULE, AND AC 1A-2 IN THE SCHEDULE BUT NOT IN THE |
| DIAGRAM. |
