 1. DELEGATED ENGINEERING: HORIZONTAL TRELLIS FOUND ON
 THE SOUTH & WEST SIDES OF THE BUILDING (SEE SECTION 6,
 8 & 9 PAGE A7.5.4). PLEASE SHOW WIND DESIGN AND
 ANCHORING DETAILS. FBC-B 1609.6.4.4.1 COMPONENTS &
 CLADDING. FL 61G-15-30.006 (3) THE DELEGATED ENGINEER
 SHALL FORWARD THE DELEGATED ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS TO
 THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR REVIEW.
  
 2. THE LETTER FROM JOE CUSCHIERI P. E. ACOUSTICS AND
 VIBRATION CONSULTANT HAS SUBMITTED A RATIONAL ANALYSIS
 AS TO HOW THEY ARE ACHIEVING THE IIC AND STC RATINGS.
 ALL FLOORS (FLOOR SLABS ARE 8 INCH POST TENSION SLABS)
 THE 3RD -16TH STORY. PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH
 BLDG TYPE: TYPE I/ TYPE II FLOOR INSULATION
  
 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. 107.3.4.2. SUBMIT STC, IIC, AND
 FLAME SPREAD TEST REPORTS (REVIEWED BY DOR) PRIOR TO
 INSTALLATION OF FLOORING UNDERLAYMENT.
 (A) FBC-B 2010 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND.
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 492.
 (B) FBC-B 2010 1207.2 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND.
 WALLS, PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES
 SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM
 PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION
 CLASS (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED)
 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E 90.
 (C) FLAME SPREAD- FBC-B 2010 603.1.2 EXCEPTION 2.
 INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED FLOOR AND SOLID
 DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE SHALL BE ALLOWED
 TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 200
 (TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723).
  
 3. PROVISO: NOTE THERE IS NO KNOWING WHICH WAY A R2
 OCCUPANCY CAN TURN INTO EITHER AN APARTMENT BUILDINGS
 ARE AN R-2 AS WELL AS CONDOMINIUMS. IT ISN?T UNTIL C.O.
 THAT THE DOCUMENTS GO TO THE STATE FOR THE DECLARATION
 OF CONDOMINIUM. THIS NEXT CODE ISSUE WILL BE A PROVISO,
 THE PLANS BEING REVIEWED AS THIS IS TO BE A CONDOMINIUM
 AND UNDER FAIR HOUSING.
 PROVISO: NOTE THIS POOL DECK AND POOL ARE COVERED UNDER
 THE FAIR HOUSING ACT, TO DATE THE GUIDELINES ONLY
 REQUIRES ACCESS MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE POOL DECK AREA,
 NOT AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE (RAMP OR LIFT) DOWN INTO THE
 WATER INTO THE POOL. ON THE OTHER HAND IF THE
 ASSOCIATION ELECTS TO ALLOW THE COMMUNITY ROOM, POOL,
 AND OR POOL DECK TO BE RENTED OUT FOR PARTIES THAT THE
 PUBLIC COULD USE, THEN THIS AREA WOULD BE REQUIRED TO
 MEET FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY SECTION 1009 OF THE
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE POOL LIFTS.
  
 4. THE PLANS INDICATE THE USE OF PRE-ENGINEERED A/C
 STANDS. WHEN FIGURING THE REQUIRED CLEARANCES IN HEIGHT
 REQUIRED BY TABLE FBC-B 1509.7, THE CLEARANCE IS FROM
 THE FINISHED ROOF HEIGHT, ABOVE THE LIGHTWEIGHT
 CONCRETE ROOF.
  
 5. PRODUCT APPROVALS: DEFERRED SUBMITTAL. ARCHITECT
 WILL REVIEW/ APPROVE/ STAMP EACH PRODUCT APPROVAL W/
 SHOP DRAWING STAMP BEFORE SUBMISSION TO CITY BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT.
  
 6. A7.5.3, PROVISO: NOTE: THE POOL TRELLIS STRUCTURE
 (PERGOLA) THIS DETAIL INDICATES IT IS GOING TO BE
 DESIGNED BY A SPECIALTY ENGINEER. BEFORE SUBMITTAL TO
 THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT, THE PLANS WILL NEED TO BE
 REVIEWED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD. FL 61G-15-30.006
 (3) THE DELEGATED ENGINEER SHALL FORWARD THE DELEGATED
 ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS TO THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR
 REVIEW.
  
 7. PAGE 136 A7.5.4. PROVISO: DETAIL # 5 RIGID ALUMINUM
 CANOPY WITH FABRIC WRAPPED WILL REQUIRE WIND DESIGN
 CRITERIA SEE OPTIONS FOUND UNDER FBC-B 3105.4 . ALSO:
 FL 61G-15-30.006 (3) THE DELEGATED ENGINEER SHALL
 FORWARD THE DELEGATED ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS TO THE

 8. FBC-B 403.4.6 SMOKE REMOVAL. SMOKE CONTROL SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 909.
  
 9. PROVISO: FBC-B 403.5.3.1 STAIRWAY COMMUNICATION
 SYSTEM. A TELEPHONE OR OTHER TWO-WAY COMMUNICATIONS
 SYSTEM CONNECTED TO AN APPROVED CONSTANTLY ATTENDED
 STATION SHALL BE PROVIDED AT NOT LESS THAN EVERY FIFTH
 FLOOR IN EACH STAIRWAY WHERE THE DOORS TO THE STAIRWAY
 ARE LOCKED.
  
 10. FBC-B 403.5.4 SMOKEPROOF EXIT ENCLOSURES. EVERY
 REQUIRED EXIT STAIRWAY SERVING FLOORS MORE THAN 75 FEET
 (22 860 MM) ABOVE THE LOWEST LEVEL OF FIRE DEPARTMENT
 VEHICLE ACCESS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTIONS 909.20 AND
 1022.9.
  
 11. THE POOL AND SPA PLANS HAVE NOT BEEN REVIEWED. A
 SEPARATE PERMIT WITH SEPARATE APPLICATIONS, PLANS, FEES
 AND REVIEWS REQUIRED.
