 THE SUBMITTAL IS THROUGHLY CONFUSING. THE APPLICATION
 DESCRIPTION AND NEWEST PLAN DO NOT MATCH, THE SUBMITTAL
 CONSIST OF PLANS FROM MORE THAN ONE DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL. ONE HAS A SITE PLAN, THE NEW ONE DOES
 NOT. THERE IS ENGINEERING FROM A THIRD DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL SUPPLIED FOR WINDOW AND DOOR DESIGN
 PRESSURES YET THE BUILDING SHOWING THE AREA OF
 INSTALLATION IS SIGNED AND SEAL BY SOMEONE ELSE. A
 SHUTTER INSTALLATION SCHEDULE HAS BEEN PROVIDE BUT LIST
 THE DOOR AND WINDOW PRODUCT ON IT. WHY IS THAT
 SUPPLIED. ARE WINDOWS ON THE PRIMARY STRUCTURE PROPOSED
 TO BE REPLACED? ALTHOUGH THE NEW PLAN FOR THE ACCESSORY
 BUILDING IS LABLED "STORAGE" IT PRESENTS AS LIVING AREA
 AND ACCORDINGLY IS A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY AND THE
 PREVIOUS COMMENTS AS FOLLOWS STILL APPLY.
  
 THE VALUATION FOR THE PROPOSED WORK IS LOW AND THE
 SCOPE OF WORK IS UNCLEAR. PROVIDE JUSTIFICATION FOR THE
 CLAIMED VALUE OR REVISE VALUE AND PROVIDE A FULL SCOPE
 OF WORK.
 FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. FOR PERMITTING
 PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE
 TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 FBC 107 - PROVIDE A SURVEY WITH FLOOD DESIGNATION.
  
 FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THOSE
 PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BYFAC RULE 9N-3 REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
 SPECIFICALLY, PROVIDE WINDOW, WINDOW MULLION, AND DOOR
 SUBMITTALS. PROVIDE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR THE APPLICABLE
 OPENINGS.
  
 THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO THE GARAGE CONVERSION TO
 LIVING SPACE:
  
 PER TABLE 101.4.1 NONEXEMPT EXISTING BUILDINGS, NOT
 PREVIOUSLY CONDITIONED PERMITTED BEFORE MARCH 1979 AND
 OCCUPANCY TYPE CHANGE MINIMUM EFFICIENCY LEVELS SHALL
 BE MET FOR COMPONENTS BEING CHANGED ENVELOPE: SECTION
 402, WQUIPMENT: SECTION 403, LIGHTING: SECTION 404.
 FBC 107.3.5.1.6 ENERGY CALCULATIONS - PROVIDE AN ENERGY
 SUBMITTAL COMPLIANT WITH FBC-E 103
  
 FBCR TABLE R302.1 EXTERIOR WALLS; MINIMUM
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING WITHIN 3 FEET OF PROPERTY LINE
 IS: 1 HOUR-TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 119 OR UL
 263 WITH EXPOSURE FROM BOTH SIDES. PROVIDE DETAILS TO
 DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH THE FORGOING. FOR THE REAR
 AND WEST WALLS.
  
 FBC 107. PROVIDE FRAMING DETAILS FOR THE INSTALLATION
 OF THE NEW WINDOW AND NEW DOOR.
  
 A NEW WALL SECTION IS PROVIDED, BUT THE PREVIOUS
 COMMENT STILL APPLIES AS FOLLOWS:
 A TYPICAL BEARING WALL DETAIL IS PROVIDED. PLEASE
 CLARIFY WHY THE DETAIL IS PROVIDED AND WHAT WORK
 DEPICTED THERE IS PROPOSED AS NEW.
  
 A COMPLETE REVIEW CANNOT BE COMPLETED DUE TO THE LACK
 OF CLARITY OF THE SUBMITTAL.
  
 107.2.1 INFORMATION ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE DIMENSIONED AND DRAWN
 UPON SUITABLE MATERIAL. ELECTRONIC MEDIA DOCUMENTS
 SHALL BE SUBMITTED WHEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE OF SUFFICIENT
 CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF
 THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL
 CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT
 LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED
 BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. SUCH DRAWINGS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS SHALL CONTAIN INFORMATION, IN THE FORM
 OF NOTES OR OTHERWISE, AS TO THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS,
 WHERE QUALITY IS ESSENTIAL TO CONFORMITY WITH THE
 TECHNICAL CODES. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL BE SPECIFIC,
 AND THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT BE CITED AS A WHOLE
 OR IN PART, NOR SHALL THE TERM "LEGAL" OR ITS
 EQUIVALENT BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR SPECIFIC
 INFORMATION.
