 APPROVAL. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL IS AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE
 A PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FOUNDATIONS OR ANY
 OTHER PART OF A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE BEFORE THE
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR THE WHOLE BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED, PROVIDED THAT ADEQUATE
 INFORMATION AND DETAILED STATEMENTS HAVE BEEN FILED
 COMPLYING WITH PERTINENT REQUIREMENTS OF THIS CODE. THE
 HOLDER OF SUCH PERMIT FOR THE FOUNDATION OR OTHER PARTS
 OF A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE SHALL PROCEED AT THE

 CONCRETE AND EXTERIOR MASONRY. THE QUESTION TO BE
 ASKED, IS THE AUGURED CAST PILE INCLUDED IN THIS PERMIT
 & THE TERM EXTERIOR MASONRY OR ALL MASONRY WALLS
 INCLUDED UNDER THIS PERMIT. THE DESCRIPTION OF WORK
 DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY COMPONENTS AND CLADDING OR
 STUCCOING OF THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING OR PARKING
 AREAS? 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) THERE ARE (2) OTHER AREAS THAT WILL NEED TO BE
 CLEARED UP AS TO IF A REVISION WILL BE REQUIRED.
 THE SOILS REPORT INDICATED THIS SITE HAD LOOSE TO VERY
 LOOSE SOILS AND VIBROFLOTATION WOULD POSSIBLY HARM
 STRUCTURES CLOSE BY. THE RECOMMENDATION WAS AUGURED
 CAST PILING FOR THE SITE AND THE UNDER PINNING OF THE
 STRUCTURE TO THE NORTH.
 3A) THE UNDERPINNING OF THE STRUCTURE TO THE NORTH
 REQUIRES THE OWNERS APPROVAL AND SINCE IT HAS ITS OWN
 SEPARATE ADDRESS & PCN NUMBER AA SEPARATE PERMIT.
  
 3B) THE 2ND ISSUE THAT WAS BROUGHT UP IN A MEETING
 5/12/2015 WITH THE KAST PROJECT MANAGER FOR THE SITE
 MATT STILL WAS SHEET PILING THE PERIMETER OF THE SITE.
 THIS BROUGHT UP CONCERN SINCE THE SOILS REPORT
 RECOMMENDED AGAINST ANY ACTION THAT CAUSES EARTH
 VIBRATION SUCH AS VIBROFLOTATION OR SHEET PILE THAT ARE
 EITHER DRIVEN OR VIBRATED INTO THE SOILS. THE USE OF
 SHEET PILE ON THE PROPERTY LINE WILL ALSO CAUSE THE
 PILE CAP DESIGN TO BE ALTERED TO ACCOMMODATE THE SHEET
 PILE, THE PLANS SHOW A VERSION 2 ON THIS PLAN BUT NOT
 ON THE MAIN BUILDING PLANS. THE SOIL REPORT ALSO
 INCLUDED HOW TO SHORE UP THE UNITIES IN THE ALLEY. IN
 SPEAKING WITH JIM BOYCE WITH KALTER IT SEEMS THEY WILL
 NEED TO DECIDE HOW THEY WILL PROCEED WITH THIS PORTION
 OF THE PROJECT.
  
 2010 FBC-B 3304.1.1 SLOPE LIMITS. SLOPES FOR PERMANENT
 FILL SHALL NOT BE STEEPER THAN ONE UNIT VERTICAL IN TWO
 UNITS HORIZONTAL (50-PERCENT SLOPE). CUT SLOPES FOR
 PERMANENT EXCAVATIONS SHALL NOT BE STEEPER THAN ONE
 UNIT VERTICAL IN TWO UNITS HORIZONTAL (50-PERCENT
 SLOPE). DEVIATION FROM THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS FOR
 CUT SLOPES SHALL BE PERMITTED ONLY UPON THE
 PRESENTATION OF A SOIL INVESTIGATION REPORT ACCEPTABLE
 TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 3304.1.2 SURCHARGE. NO FILL OR OTHER SURCHARGE LOADS
 SHALL BE PLACED ADJACENT TO ANY BUILDING OR STRUCTURE
 UNLESS SUCH BUILDING OR STRUCTURE IS CAPABLE OF
 WITHSTANDING THE ADDITIONAL LOADS CAUSED BY THE FILL OR
 SURCHARGE. EXISTING FOOTINGS OR FOUNDATIONS WHICH CAN
 BE AFFECTED BY ANY EXCAVATION SHALL BE UNDERPINNED
 ADEQUATELY OR OTHERWISE PROTECTED AGAINST SETTLEMENT
 AND SHALL BE PROTECTED AGAINST LATER MOVEMENT.
  
 3307.1 PROTECTION REQUIRED. ADJOINING PUBLIC AND
 PRIVATE PROPERTY SHALL BE PROTECTED FROM DAMAGE DURING
 CONSTRUCTION, REMODELING AND DEMOLITION WORK.
 PROTECTION MUST BE PROVIDED FOR FOOTINGS, FOUNDATIONS,
 PARTY WALLS, CHIMNEYS, SKYLIGHTS AND ROOFS. PROVISIONS
 SHALL BE MADE TO CONTROL WATER RUNOFF AND EROSION
 DURING CONSTRUCTION OR DEMOLITION ACTIVITIES. THE
 PERSON MAKING OR CAUSING AN EXCAVATION TO BE MADE SHALL
 PROVIDE WRITTEN NOTICE TO THE OWNERS OF ADJOINING
 BUILDINGS ADVISING THEM THAT THE EXCAVATION IS TO BE
 MADE AND THAT THE ADJOINING BUILDINGS SHOULD BE
 PROTECTED. SAID NOTIFICATION SHALL BE DELIVERED NOT
 LESS THAN 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED STARTING DATE
 OF THE EXCAVATION.
  
 3303.5 WATER ACCUMULATION. PROVISION SHALL BE MADE TO
 PREVENT THE ACCUMULATION OF WATER OR DAMAGE TO ANY

 NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ARE ASSESSED CUMULATIVELY, SO
 THE ART ASSESSMENT WILL BE APPLICABLE TO ALL FUTURE
 PROJECTS.
  
 5) PLEASE PROVIDE A SURVEY WITH THE PROPOSED OVERLAY OF
 THE BUILDING TO VERIFY THE ACTUAL DISTANCE FROM
 PROPERTY LINES. 2010 FBC-B TABLE 602. THE CURRENT
 SURVEY SUBMITTED INDICATES THIS PROPOSED STRUCTURE WILL

 AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM INSTALLATION HAS BEEN TESTED
 AND APPROVED, EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 111.3.
  
 9H) 109.3.10* IMPACT OF CONSTRUCTION. ALL CONSTRUCTION
 ACTIVITY REGULATED BY THIS CODE SHALL BE PERFORMED IN A
 MANNER SO AS NOT TO ADVERSELY IMPACT THE CONDITION OF
 ADJACENT PROPERTY, UNLESS SUCH ACTIVITY IS PERMITTED TO
 AFFECT SAID PROPERTY PURSUANT TO A CONSENT BY THE

 PROPERTIES RESULTING IN A DECREASE IN EXCESS OF 800SQ
 FT OF PERMEABLE LAND AREA ON ANY PARCEL SHALL AS A
 PERMIT CONDITION, PROVIDE A PROFESSIONALLY PREPARED
 DRAINAGE PLAN CLEARLY INDICATING COMPLIANCE WITH THIS
 PARAGRAPH. UPON COMPLETION OF THE IMPROVEMENT, A
 CERTIFICATION FROM A LICENSED ENGINEER SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE INSPECTOR IN ORDER TO RECEIVE APPROVAL
 OF THE FINAL INSPECTION.
  
 9I) 109.3.10.1 HURRICANE PROTECTION. IT SHALL BE
 UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION RELATED
 MATERIALS EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS TO REMAIN LOOSE OR
 OTHERWISE UNSECURED AT A CONSTRUCTION SITE FROM 24 HRS.
 AFTER A HURRICANE WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED UNTIL THE
 HURRICANE WATCH OR WARNING HAS BEEN LIFTED. ALL SUCH
 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS SHALL BE
 EITHER REMOVED FROM THE CONSTRUCTION SITE OR SECURED IN
 SUCH A MANNER AS TO MINIMIZE THE DANGER OF SUCH
 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS CAUSING
 DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY FROM HIGH WINDS. ANY
 PERSONS WHO FAILS TO COMPLY TO REMOVE OR SECURE THE
 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS EQUIPMENT AND DEBRIS WITHIN 24
 HRS AFTER A HURRICANE WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED SHALL BE
 SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $500.00. IN ADDITION TO
 THE ABOVE, A LICENSED CONTRACTOR WHO VIOLATES THIS
 SECTION SHALL BE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINE PURSUANT TO
 SECTION 113 OF THIS CHAPTER.
  
 10) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
