 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 2) 2ND REQUEST. MISSING SOILS REPORT WITH THE MINIMUM
 SAFE BEARING VALUE. 2010 FBC-B 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE
 SOIL. WHERE THE CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR
 COMPRESSIBILITY OF THE SOIL IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A
 LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS
 CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION
 BE CONDUCTED.
  
 3-8) COMPLIED.
  
 9) 2ND REQUEST. SHEET A-1 SHOWS A NEW RAMP WITH A
 HEIGHT OF 6 INCHES AND A 6 INCH STEP ADJACENT TO THE
 RAMP.THE 2010 FBC-B 1003.5 WHERE CHANGES IN ELEVATION
 OF LESS THAN 12 INCHES IN A MEANS OF EGRESS SLOPED
 SURFACES SHALL BE USED, NOT A STEP.
 NOTE IF THE FINISH FLOOR IS 6 INCHES OR LESS THAN
 HANDRAILS ARE NOT REQUIRED. IF WHEN IN THE FIELD THE
 RAMP IS EITHER GREATER THAN 6 INCHES IN HEIGHT OR 72
 INCHES IN LENGTH HANDRAILS WILL BE REQUIRED PER 1010.8
 WITH THE REQUIRED BACKING FOR HANDRAILS.
  
 10) 2ND REQUEST. SHEET A-1 SHOWS IN THE AREA OF WORK
 (2) EXTERIOR DOORWAYS WITH A 4INCH DROP, BOTH DOORS ARE
 SHOWN TO BE REQUIRED EXITS. PLEASE REVIEW:
 2010 FBC-B 1008.1.5 FLOOR ELEVATION. THERE SHALL BE A
 FLOOR OR LANDING ON EACH SIDE OF A DOOR. SUCH FLOOR OR
 LANDING SHALL BE AT THE SAME ELEVATION ON EACH SIDE OF
 THE DOOR. LANDINGS SHALL BE LEVEL EXCEPT FOR EXTERIOR
 LANDINGS, WHICH ARE PERMITTED TO HAVE A SLOPE NOT TO
 EXCEED 1 UNIT VERTICAL IN 50 UNITS HORIZONTAL
 (2-PERCENT SLOPE).
