 REFER TO THE PREVIOUS COMMENT MADE BY JIM WITMER.
 BUILDING PLAN REVIEWER REGARDING THIS OCCUPANCY TYPE.
 SEC. 303. EXCEPTION #5 OF THE 2010 FBC CLEARLY STATES
 "ACCESSORY RELIGIOUS EDUCATIONAL ROOMS AND RELIGIOUS
 AUDITORIUMS WITH OCCUPANT LOADS OF LESS THAN 100 ARE
 NOT CONSIDERED SEPARATE OCCUPANCIES" SO I DON'T
 UNDERSTAND HOW THIS COULD BE DEEMED AN EDUCATIONAL
 OCCUPANCY. SECTION 305 OF THE 2010 FBC ALSO STATES
 THIS. THE OCCUPANCY TYPE SHALL DETERMINE THE TYPE AND
 NUMBER OF SANITARY FACILITIES REQUIRED. SINCE THE
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IS CALLING THIS AN EDUCATIONAL
 OCCUPANCY, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO
 DETERMINE IF THIS WOULD INDEED BE DEEMED AN EDUCATIONAL
 OCCUPANCY.THE NUMBER AND TYPE OF SANITARY FACILITIES
 CANNOT BE DETERMINED UNTIL THE OCCUPANCY OF THIS SPACE
 IS DETERMINED. WPB AMEND. TO FBC SEC. 107.2.1.
 2) THE COVER SHEET ON THE PLANS SHOWS ONE OF THE
 ADJACENT TENANTS (CHURCH?) AS AN ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY AND
 ON SHEET A1 AND THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN THE SAME ADJACENT
 TENANT IS SHOWN AS A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY. WHICH IS IT?
 WHERE IS THE CHURCH LOCATED? IDENTIFY THE SPACE WHERE
 THE CHURCH IS LOCATED.
 3) SHOW THE CLEAR INSIDE DIMENSIONS ( L X W ) OF THE
 TOILET ROOM. THE FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SEC.604.3.1
 REQUIRES A CLEAR FLOOR SPACE OF A MINIMUM OF 60 INCHES
 IN WIDTH BY 56 INCHES DEEP FOR A WATER CLOSET. THE
 LAVATORY CANNOT ENCROACH INTO THIS CLEAR FLOOR SPACE.
 THIS WOULD REQUIRE A MINIMUM WIDTH OF THE TOILET ROOM
 TO BE 85". SEC. 906.1 OF THE 2010 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE REQUIRES COMPLIANCE WITH THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 WHEN A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS.
 4) AS PREVIOUSLY NOTED, A MINIMUM OF TWO DRINKING
 FOUNTAINS ARE REQUIRED BY THE 2010 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE SEC. 211.2. A WATER COOLER DOES NOT MEET THE CODE
 REQUIREMENT. AT A MINIMUM, A HI-LO TYPE DRINKING
 FOUNTAIN SHALL BE REQUIRED.
 5) THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IS CALLING THIS AN
 EDUCATIONAL OCCUPANCY YET THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN HAS THE
 SANITARY FACILITIES BASED ON AN A-3 OCCUPANCY.CLARIFY.
 6) THE ARCHITECT'S RESPONSE TO THE PLUMBING CODE
 REQUIREMENTS FOR THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF SANITARY
 FACILITIES THAT SEPARATE FACILITIES FOR EACH SEX ARE
 LOCATED IN THE CHURCH NEXT DOOR AND THAT PERMANENT
 ACCESS WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE TENANT IS UNACCEPTABLE.
 SECTION 403.3.1 CLEARLY PROHIBITS ACCESS TO THE
 FACILITIES THROUGH STORAGE ROOMS, CLOSETS AND
 KITCHENS.THE PATH OF TRAVEL TO THE FACILITIES IN THE
 CHURCH CLEARLY GOES THROUGH A STORAGE AREA AND A
 CLOSET. THE SAME APPLIES TO THE LOCATION OF ALL THE
 REQUIRED PLUMBING FIXTURES FOR THIS NEW SPACE.
