 A NOTE STATING THAT THIS IS A REPLACEMENT FOR AN
 EXISTING SUN ROOM PREVIOUSLY PERMITTED. NO PERMIT
 NUMBER OR OTHER EVIDENCE OF A PERMIT WAS PROVIDED.
  
 COMMENTS FROM PREVIOUS LIST:
  
 1. THE NATURE OF EXISTING CONDITIONS IS NOT CLEAR.
  
 NO PERMITS FOR WINDOWS SINCE 1998/1999, SO ANY
 IMPROVEMENTS WHICH EXIST CURRENTLY WOULD HAVE BEEN
 PERMITTED PRIOR TO THAT TIME. IT IS NOT CLEAR HOW THIS
 WOULD AFFECT BEDROOM EGRESS; PLEASE LABEL ROOMS WHICH
 OPEN INTO THE SUN ROOM.
  
 PROVIDE A STRUCTURAL DETAIL FOR THE EXISTING WALLS. I
 LOCATED RECORD TWO PERMITS FOR SCREEN PORCH BUT CANNOT
 EASILY ACCESS THE PLANS FOR THESE PERMITS. IT IS NOT
 CLEAR WHETHER THE EXISTING SUBSTRATE IN THE PORCH CAN
 ACCOMODATE THE ADDITIONAL LOAD OF IMPACT WINDOWS.

 2ND REVIEW:
  
 AS PLANS STILL SHOW THE "SUNROOM" AS EXISTING, A
 PARTIAL RECORDS RESEARCH (30 MINUTES) HAS BEEN DONE ON
 CONTRACTOR'S BEHALF.
  
 HOUSE WAS PERMITTED UNDER PERMIT 5165D ON 9/21/1970. A
 "SCREEN ENCLOSURE" WAS PERMITTED ON 1/14/71 (6199D). A
 "SCREEN PORCH ADDITION" WAS PERMITTED ON 12/10/1982
 (3987I). THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT THE SCREEN ENCLOSURE
 PERMITTED TWICE WAS CONVERTED TO A "SUN ROOM" WITH
 WINDOWS. THERE ARE TWO ISSUES TO ADDRESS; STRUCTURAL
 AND EGRESS.
  
 THE PLAN PROVIDED SHOWS TWO BEDROOMS WITH WINDOWS TO
 THE OUTSIDE AS WELL AS OPENINGS INTO THE SUN ROOM.
 PROVIDE DIMENSIONS FOR EACH AS WELL AS OPENING TYPE
 (TYPE OF WINDOW), FBC 2010 RESIDENTIAL 310.
  
 THE FIRST SCREEN PORCH SHOWS "EXISTING FOOTING & FLOOR
 SLAB - MIN 8" X 12" 2 #4". I WAS UNABLE TO SEE PLANS
 FOR THE SECOND "SCREEN PORCH ADDITION" PERMIT #3987I.
 IT IS SUGGESTED THAT YOU DO A RECORDS RESEARCH REQUEST
 TO DETERMINE WHAT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THAT PERMIT,
 IF ANY. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE ROOF AND RELATED
 STRUCTURE WAS DONE AT THAT TIME, BUT BASED ON THE
 DESCRIPTION IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT WINDOWS WERE
 PERMITTED.

 PROVIDE A STRUCTURAL PLAN WHICH DEMONSTRATES THAT THE
 STRUCTURE CAN ACCOMODATE THE ADDITIONAL WEIGHT OF THE
 IMPACT WINDOWS. BASED ON THE PERMIT DESCRIPTION, IT
 APPEARS THAT SCREEN WAS PERMITTED. A MORE THOROUGH
 RESEARCH MAY PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
  
 AN IMPACT FEE ASSESSMENT MAY BE REQUIRED.
