 1 UPLOAD VIA THE PROJECTDOX PORTAL WITH DIGITAL
 SIGNATURES OF DESIGN PROFESSIONALS AS APPLICABLE; USE
 THE REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 2 INCLUDE ON A CD IF DESIGN PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL
 SIGNATURES ARE PROVIDED AS REQUIRED; USE THE REQUIRED
 NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 3 INCLUDE ON A CD WITH ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER
 DESIGN DOCUMENTS SIGNED AND SEALED AS REQUIRED; USE THE
 REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 4 ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER DESIGN DOCUMENTS SUBJECT

 NOT PROVIDE AS TO HOW MUCH IN AREA THIS DRYWALL PATCH
 WORK WILL BE, SECTION 703.4.1 OF THE EXST. BLDG. CODE
 MAY APPLY. 703.4.1 SUPPLEMENTAL INTERIOR FINISH
 REQUIREMENTS.
 WHERE THE WORK AREA ON ANY FLOOR EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF

 DUCT, THE 2ND FLOOR PLANS DO NOT SHOW A HATCHED AREA
 BUT IT APPEARS ON THE 2ND FLOOR MECHANICAL SOME OF THE
 A/C DROPS WILL BE SIDE WALL WHERE OTHERS WILL BE
 CEILING GRILLES. 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED, MAY BE A DISSCREPANCY IN THE PLANS.
  
 7) SHEET A-3 NOTES TENANT SEPARATION WALL INDICATES IN
 NOTE # 1 SOUND INSULATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE TENANT
 SEPARATION WALL. PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH 2010
 FBC-B 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND. WALLS, PARTITIONS AND
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS FROM
 EACH OTHER OR FROM PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A
 SOUND TRANSMISSION CLASS (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45
 IF FIELD TESTED) FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 90. PENETRATIONS OR OPENINGS IN
 CONSTRUCTION ASSEMBLIES FOR PIPING; ELECTRICAL DEVICES;
 RECESSED CABINETS; BATHTUBS; SOFFITS; OR HEATING,
 VENTILATING OR EXHAUST DUCTS SHALL BE SEALED, LINED,
 INSULATED OR OTHERWISE TREATED TO MAINTAIN THE REQUIRED
 RATINGS. THIS REQUIREMENT SHALL NOT APPLY TO DWELLING
 UNIT ENTRANCE DOORS; HOWEVER, SUCH DOORS SHALL BE TIGHT
 FITTING TO THE FRAME AND SILL.
  
 8) THE PLANS WILL ALSO NEED ON THE 2ND FLOOR, FLOOR
 SYSTEM TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2010 FBC-B 1207.3
 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND. FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN
 DWELLING UNITS OR BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC
 OR SERVICE AREA WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN
 IMPACT INSULATION CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN
 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 ASTM E 492.
  
 9) A-3 FLOOR FINISHES SHOW CARPET FOR ALL FLOORS, WILL
 THERE BE CARPET IN THE BATHROOMS AND KITCHEN AREAS AS
 WELL? THE PLANS ARE NOT CLEAR IF DRYWALL IS BEING
 REPLACED IN THE SHOWER COMPARTMENTS AS WELL? 107.2.1.3.
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 10) PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2010 FBC-B 1209.2 ATTIC
 SPACES.
 AN OPENING NOT LESS THAN 20 INCHES BY 30 INCHES (559 MM
 BY 762 MM) SHALL BE PROVIDED TO ANY ATTIC AREA HAVING A
 CLEAR HEIGHT OF OVER 30 INCHES (762 MM). A 30-INCH (762
 MM) MINIMUM CLEAR HEADROOM IN THE ATTIC SPACE SHALL BE
 PROVIDED AT OR ABOVE THE ACCESS OPENING.
  
 11) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
