 1- BOTH SETS OF PLANS NEED TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY
 THE ENGINEER OF RECORD AS REQUIRED BY CHAPTER 471
 FLORIDA STATUTE. ONLY ONE SET WAS SIGNED AND SEALED.
  
 2- PHASE 2 OF THIS PROJECT (WINDOWS AND DOORS) WAS
 ADDED ON 3/11/15. PLEASE UPDATE VALUATION DECLARED IN
 THE PERMIT APPLICATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC. PLEASE PROVIDE COPY OF SIGNED
 CONTRACT FOR THE OVERALL SCOPE OF WORK.
  
 3-SHEET A-0:
 A) THIS IS ALTERATION LEVEL 3 NOT ALTERATION LEVEL 2.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 405 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING.
  
 B) REVISE THE WIND EXPOSURE CATEGORY. ACCORDING TO SEC.
 R301.2.1.4.3 OF 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, THIS BUILDING IS
 LOCATED IN EXPOSURE "D" NOT "C".
  
 C) AREA CALCULATIONS CALLS FOR NEW LIVING SPACE ON
 SECOND FLOOR. CLEARLY IDENTIFY ON PLANS WHICH IS THE
 NEW LIVING AREA. BRING PLANS TO PALM BEACH COUNTY (2300
 N. JOG RD) TO ACCESS IMPACT IMPACT FEES. BRING BACK
 COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES
 ARE DUE. REQUIRED BY THE COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF
 THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 4- REVISE THE DESIGN DATA ON SHEET A-3. REVISE THE WIND
 EXPOSURE AND REVISE THE WINDOWS/DOORS DESIGN PRESSURES
 TO CORRESPOND TO EXPOSURE "D".
  
 5- SHEET A-2:
 A) PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 NEW HANDRAILS AND GUARDRAILS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH
 ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R311.7.7 AND SEC. R312 OF
 2010 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. ALSO, PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS
 AND SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE LIVE
 LOAD REQUIREMENTS OF TABLE R301.5 OF 2010
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B) PROVIDE COMPLETE SECTION/DETAIL AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF NEW STEEL COLUMNS BY THE GREAT
 ROOM AREA. SPECIFY ALL CONNECTORS TOP AND BOTTOM. AND
 ENGINEER TO PROVIDE SHORING SPECIFICATIONS. SEC.
 107.2.1.3 OF CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 6- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (TWO COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR:
 A) WINDOW MULLIONS. PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR BAY
 WINDOWS MULLIONS. AS SHOWN ON PLANS. FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FL15922 SUBMITTED IS FOR STRAIGHT MULLIONS
 ONLY. AND, CLEARLY SPECIFY MULLION SIZE FOR ALL WINDOWS
 TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC.
 R301.
 NOTE: AS AN ALTERNATIVE YOU CAN SUBMIT PRODUCT APPROVAL
 FOR COMPLETE BAY WINDOWS ASSEMBLY AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
  
 B) THERE WAS INFORMATION SUBMITTED FOR CASEMENT
 WINDOWS. PLANS AND NEW WINDOW SCHEDULE DON'T SHOW
 CASEMENT WINDOWS. CLARIFY/REVISE AS REQUIRED. IF
 CASEMENT WINDOWS WILL BE INSTALLED, THEN PROVIDE THE
 APPROVED FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBER THAT
 CORRESPOND TO INFORMATION SUBMITTED. IF THERE IS NONE,
 THEN MANUFACTURER MAY APPLY FOR LOCAL PRODUCT APPROVAL.
  
 C) NEED TWO COPIES OF DOUBLE HUNG PRODUCT APPROVALS.
 ONLY ONE WAS SUBMITTED.
  
 D) FRENCH DOORS WITH SIZES AS SHOWN ON PLANS FOR DOORS
 #1 AND #8. . NOTE: FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FL14285
 SUBMITTED IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. ALL THE CHARTS WERE
 BLOCKED OUT. PRODUCT APPROVAL CAN NOT BE ALTERED.
 PROVIDE COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVAL AND PROVIDE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL THAT COVERS DOORS #1 AND #8.
  
 E) ALL USP AND SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED
 ON ALL DETAILS ON SHEET A-4. NOTE: PROVIDE ONLY THE
 FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FRONT PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING
 THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR LIST THE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL NUMBER NEXT TO THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 7- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 ALL PRODUCT APPROVAL. SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 8- SHEET A-4: CLARIFY DOOR FRAMING DETAIL AND NEW
 HEADER DETAIL. WHERE IS THIS DETAIL TAKEN AT. THESE ARE
 TWO DIFFERENT FRAMING DETAILS. ONE IS FOR A WOOD FRAMED
 WALL AND THE OTHER ONE IS FOR AN EXISTING CBS WALL.
 REVISE BOTH DETAILS AS REQUIRED TO MATCH ACTUAL FIELD
 CONDITIONS. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 ***PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
