 CONTRACTOR WILL LOOK FOR A NEW PRODUCT. NOTE THE
 BUILDING HAS A 6 INCH CONCRETE SLAB, NOT A 8 INCH WHICH
 MOST SOUND REPORTS USE WITH A DROPPED CEILING.

 APPLIED OVER THIS TYPE OF FLOOR INSULATION. 2010 FBC-B

 2) THE SUBMITTED SAM 3 90 SOUND CONTROL REPORT DOES NOT
 INCLUDE ANY FLAME SPREAD NOR SMOKE DEVELOPMENT TESTING
 RESULTS. PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH:
 2010 FBC-B 719.2 CONCEALED INSTALLATION. INSULATING
 MATERIALS, WHERE CONCEALED AS INSTALLED IN BUILDINGS OF
 ANY TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION, SHALL HAVE A FLAME SPREAD
 INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 25 AND A SMOKE-DEVELOPED INDEX
 OF NOT MORE THAN 450. WHERE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OR A
 SMOKE-DEVELOPED INDEX IS SPECIFIED IN THIS SECTION,
 SUCH INDEX SHALL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 3) THE VALUATION IS FOR THE WHOLE JOB, NOT JUST THE
 INSULATION, PLEASE PROVIDE A CONTRACT WITH THE TOTAL
 CONTRACT VALUE OF THE PREJECT.

 ON BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL,

 A FEE FOR EACH PERMIT SHALL BE PAID AS REQUIRED, IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHEDULE ESTABLISHED BY THE
 APPLICABLE GOVERNING AUTHORITY.

 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFRENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
