 1) SHEET 2 OF 3 INDICATES THE SPLITTING THE TENANTCY
 INTO 2 SMALLER TENANT SPACES. THE TENANT WALL IS SHOWN
 AS DETAIL A THIS SHEET. THE DETAIL INDICATES A 1 HOUR
 FIRE RATED WALL WITH 3 5/8 IN. METAL STUDS CENTER TO
 CENTER NOT GIVEN AND 5/8 IN DRYWALL. PLEASE PROVIDE THE
 ASSEMBLY FROM UL OR THE GYPSUM ASSOCIATION WHERE 5/8
 INCH DRYWALL PROVIDES A ONE HOUR RATING. EVEN THE 2010
 FBC-B TABLE 720.1(2) (16) INDICATES THE USE OF 5/8 INCH
 TYPE X DRYWALL FOR FIRE RATED WALLS.
  
 2) THR NEW PROPOSED TENANT SEPARATION WALL DETAIL IS
 NOT CLEAR WHERE THE TOP OFTHE WALL IS GOING TO STOP,
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 709.4 CONTINUITY. FIRE
 PARTITIONS SHALL EXTEND FROM THE TOP OF THE FOUNDATION
 OR FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLY BELOW TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE
 FLOOR OR ROOF SHEATHING, SLAB OR DECK ABOVE OR TO THE
 FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED FLOOR/CEILING OR ROOF/CEILING
 ASSEMBLY ABOVE, AND SHALL BE SECURELY ATTACHED THERETO.
 IF THE PARTITIONS ARE NOT CONTINUOUS TO THE SHEATHING,
 DECK OR SLAB, AND WHERE CONSTRUCTED OF COMBUSTIBLE
 CONSTRUCTION, THE SPACE BETWEEN THE CEILING AND THE
 SHEATHING, DECK OR SLAB ABOVE SHALL BE FIREBLOCKED OR
 DRAFTSTOPPED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 717.2 AND
 717.3 AT THE PARTITION LINE. THE SUPPORTING
 CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE PROTECTED TO AFFORD THE REQUIRED
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF THE WALL SUPPORTED, EXCEPT
 FOR WALLS SEPARATING TENANT SPACES IN COVERED MALL
 BUILDINGS, WALLS SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS, WALLS
 SEPARATING SLEEPING UNITS AND CORRIDOR WALLS, IN
 BUILDINGS OF TYPE IIB, IIIB AND VB CONSTRUCTION
  
 3) THE EXISTING FRONT STOREFRONT PANEL IS BEING REMOVED
 AND A ALCOVE IS BEING CREATED. THIS CONSTRUCTION IS TO
 BE WEATHER TIGHT THERE IS NO WALL IDENTIFYING TAGS IN
 THIS WALL SECTION, NOR IS THERE A SECTION THROUGH THE
 CEILING AS TO THE MATERIALS TO CREATE THE ALCOVE
 CEILING NOR THE FRAMING ABOVE.

 INFORMATION REQUIRED. NOTE THIS IS A EXTERIOR WALL AND
 WILL HAVE TO MEET THE PRESSURES FOR 170 VULT WIND
 LOADING, PARTOF THE MWFRS, MAIN WIND FORCE RESISTING
 SYSTEM.
