 1) THE SUBMITTED PLANS ARE A GOOD BASE FOR THE DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL TO TAKE DIMENSIONS FROM AND LAYOUT OF THE
 TENANT SPACE. THE PLANS ARE COPIES, COPYRIGHT LAWS WILL
 NOT ALLOW THE ASSUMED WORK OF A DESIGN PROFESSIONAL.
 THE PLANS DO NOT MEET THE MINIMUM SCALE REQUIREMENTS
 FOR RECORD RETENSION.
 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 107.2.1.4 QUALITY OF
 BUILDING PLANS. BUILDING PLANS SHALL BE DRAWN TO A
 MINIMUM 1/8 INCH SCALE UPON SUBSTANTIAL PAPER, CLOTH OR
 OTHER ACCEPTABLE MEDIUM. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY
 ESTABLISH THROUGH DEPARTMENTAL POLICY, OTHER STANDARDS
 FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE
 CONFORMITY TO ITS RECORD RETENTION PROGRAM. THIS POLICY
 MAY INCLUDE SUCH THINGS AS MINIMUM SIZE, SHAPE,
 CONTRAST, CLARITY, OR OTHER ITEMS RELATED TO RECORDS
 MANAGEMENT.

 THE EXAMINATION OF THE DOCUMENTS BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM CRITERIA

 3) 2010 EXISTING BUILDING CODE CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY 01.3
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION.
 WHERE THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OF A BUILDING
 CHANGES, THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 902 THROUGH 912
 SHALL APPLY. THIS INCLUDES A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION WITHIN A GROUP AS WELL AS A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION FROM ONE GROUP TO A DIFFERENT
 GROUP.
  
 4) 2010 FBC-B COMPLY WITH THIS CHAPTER. DAY CARE
 OCCUPANCIES WILL ALSO NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE 2010
 FBC-B CHAPTER 436.
  
 5) 2010 FBC-B EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE
 1029.2 MINIMUM SIZE. EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE
 OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING OF 5.7
 SQUARE FEET (0.53 M2).

 EVERY ROOM OR SPACE GREATER THAN 250 SQUARE FEET (23.2
 M2) IN EDUCATIONAL OCCUPANCIES USED FOR CLASSROOM OR
 OTHER EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OR NORMALLY SUBJECT TO
 STUDENT OCCUPANCY AND EVERY ROOM OR SPACE NORMALLY
 SUBJECT TO CLIENT OCCUPANCY, OTHER THAN BATHROOMS, IN
 GROUP D OCCUPANCIES SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN ONE
 OUTSIDE WINDOW FOR EMERGENCY RESCUE THAT COMPLIES WITH
 THE FOLLOWING:
  
 1. SUCH WINDOWS SHALL BE OPENABLE FROM THE INSIDE
 WITHOUT THE USE OF TOOLS AND SHALL PROVIDE A CLEAR
 OPENING OF NOT LESS THAN 20 INCHES (508 MM) IN WIDTH,
 24 INCHES (610 MM) IN HEIGHT, AND 5.7 SQUARE FEET (0.53
 M2) IN AREA.
  
 2. THE BOTTOM OF THE OPENING SHALL BE NOT MORE THAN 44
 INCHES (1118 MM) ABOVE THE FLOOR, AND ANY LATCHING
 DEVICE SHALL BE CAPABLE OF BEING OPERATED FROM NOT MORE
 THAN 54 INCHES (1372 MM) ABOVE THE FINISHED FLOOR.
  
 6) BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT
 FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL
 PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND
 A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE PERMIT

 7) A THOROUGH REVIEW CAN NOT BE MADE AT THIS TIME, AS A
