 SUBMISSION OPTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
 1 UPLOAD VIA THE PROJECTDOX PORTAL WITH DIGITAL
 SIGNATURES OF DESIGN PROFESSIONALS AS APPLICABLE; USE
 THE REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 2 INCLUDE ON A CD IF DESIGN PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL
 SIGNATURES ARE PROVIDED AS REQUIRED; USE THE REQUIRED
 NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 3 INCLUDE ON A CD WITH ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER
 DESIGN DOCUMENTS SIGNED AND SEALED AS REQUIRED; USE THE
 REQUIRED NAMING CONVENTION FOR EACH DOCUMENT
 4 ONE SET OF TRADITIONAL PAPER DESIGN DOCUMENTS SUBJECT
 TO ADMINISTRATIVE FEES TO DIGITIZE THE DOCUMENTS

 MPH WIND SPEED. THE PLANS DO NOT STATE IF THIS WIND
 SPEED IS IN VULT OR VASD. THE PRESSURES PROVIDED
 INDICATES A C EXPOSURE, TAKEN AT 30 FEET AND WORST CASE
 SCENARIO OR WALL ZONE 5 FOR 10 SQ. FT. THE PRESSURES
 WOULD EQUATE TO 132 MPH VASD NOT A 146MPH. 2010 FBC-B

 THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY THE DCA RULE

 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.

 4A) 2ND REQUEST. SHEET A-3 VARIOUS ELEVATIONS SHOW
 ORNATE ARCHITECTURAL FACADE WORK, THERE ARE NO DETAILS
 HOW THE FACADE WILL BE MADE OR SECURED TO THE BUILDING.
 SHEET A-7 SHOWS NEW COLUMNS, THERE IS A BEAM SCHEDULE
 THAT STATES POURED, THESE ARE EXISTING BEAMS? THE SUITE
 528 SHOWS ON THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING EXISTING BUT THE
 WEST FACADE DOES NOT STATE EXISTING ON THE FLOOR PLAN?
 IF THESE ARE TO BE NEW COLUMNS AND BEAMS, THERE SHOULD
 BE A SHORING PLAN SHOWING HOW THE ROOF FRAMIG ROOF DECK
 AND EXISTING PARAPET ARE GOING TO BE HELD IN PLACE
 WHILE THE BEARING WALL IS DEMOLISHED AND REBUILT?
  
 4B) WITH THE WEST ELEVATION WALL BEING REBUILT THE BEAM
 AND COLUMNS ARE SHOWN BUT THERE IS NO MENTION OF THE
 STRAPING OF THE 2X10S AND LOADS TO BE TRANSMITTED INTO
 THE NEW BEAM AND COLUMNS, PART OF THE MWFRS MAIN WIND
 FORCE RESISTING SYSTEM. 1609.1.
  
 4C) SHEET A-6 WALL SECTIONS SHOW STEM WALL
 CONSTRUCTION, SHEET A7 NOTES ON THIS SHEET ARE
 CONFUSSING ON FOUNDATIONS. AT ENTRY AREAS NOTE # 1
 ENTRY PIERS MAY UTILIZE P. T. SOUTHERN PINE NO, 2 GRADE
 2X6 FRAMING W/ CONCRETE SLAB EXTENSION. A 2ND NOTE
 BELOW THIS INDICATES: REMOVE PORTION OF SLAB FOR NEW
 CONCRETE PADS 42X 42X12 INCH W/ #5 6 INCHES EACH WAY.
 ARE ALL NEW COLUMNS GOING TO RECEIVE NEW FOOTER PADS,
 WOULDN'T THE ENTRY FRAMING LAND ON THSE NEW PADS, THE
 HEIGHT OF THE FOUNDATION IS NOT GIVEN? WILL THE STEM
 WALL CONSTRUCTION TAKE PLACE UNTIL THE HEIGHT OF THE
 FINISH FLOOR FOR THE COLUMN AND ENTRY PIERS, ONE POUR
 WITH NO COLD JOINTS?
 2114.2 CONCRETE BEARING LEDGE.
 BRICK, STONE OR OTHER VENEER SHALL BE SUPPORTED BY A
 CONCRETE BEARING LEDGE AT LEAST EQUAL TO THE TOTAL
 THICKNESS OF THE BRICK, STONE OR OTHER VENEER, WHICH IS
 POURED INTEGRALLY WITH THE CONCRETE FOUNDATION. NO
 SUPPLEMENTAL CONCRETE FOUNDATION POURS WHICH WILL
 CREATE A HIDDEN COLD JOINT SHALL BE USED WITHOUT
 SUPPLEMENTAL TREATMENT IN THE FOUNDATION UNLESS THERE
 IS AN APPROVED PHYSICAL BARRIER. AN APPROVED PHYSICAL
 BARRIER SHALL ALSO BE INSTALLED FROM BELOW THE WALL
 SILL PLATE OR FIRST BLOCK COURSE HORIZONTALLY TO EMBED
 IN A MORTAR JOINT. IF MASONRY VENEER EXTENDS BELOW
 GRADE, A TERMITE PROTECTIVE TREATMENT MUST BE APPLIED
 TO THE CAVITY CREATED BETWEEN THE VENEER AND THE
 FOUNDATION, IN LIEU OF A PHYSICAL BARRIER.
  
 4D) TO DATE NO FRAMING DETAILS HAVE BEEN PROVIDED FOR
 THE COVERED ENTRY. 107.3.5 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA
 FOR BUILDINGS. 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:
 STRUCTURAL REQUIREMENTS SHALL INCLUDE: WALL/ ROOF
 SYSTEMS
  
 5) 2ND REQUEST. 107.3.5 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA
 FOR BUILDINGS. THE EXAMINATION OF THE DOCUMENTS BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM
 CRITERIA AND DOCUMENTS:FLASHING DETAILS AND WILL THERE
 BE WOOD BUCKS FOR WINDOWS AND DOORS?
 1405.12.7 FLASHING.
 EXPOSED EDGES OF THIN EXTERIOR STRUCTURAL GLASS VENEER
 SHALL BE FLASHED WITH OVERLAPPING CORROSION-RESISTANT
 METAL FLASHING AND CAULKED WITH A WATERPROOF COMPOUND
 IN A MANNER TO EFFECTIVELY PREVENT THE ENTRANCE OF
 MOISTURE BETWEEN THE GLASS VENEER AND THE BACKING.
 1405.13 EXTERIOR WINDOWS AND DOORS.
 WINDOWS AND DOORS INSTALLED IN EXTERIOR WALLS SHALL
 CONFORM TO THE TESTING AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS OF
 SECTION 1715.5.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL
 LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH
 A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE
 SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE
 FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR
