 COMMENTS.
 CODE: 2010 FBC.
  
 IMPORTANT:
 THERE ARE SEVERAL ISSUES THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED.
 THERE WAS BUILDING, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL
 WORK DONE WITHOUT PERMITS. PERMIT APPLICATIONS WERE
 APPLIED FOR, BUT PERMITS WERE NOT ISSUED. ONE
 MECHANICAL PERMIT WAS ISSUED AND THE OTHER WAS NOT
 (BOTH ARE EXPIRED NOW). THE BEST WAY TO CLEAR UP ALL
 THE ISSUES IS TO PROVIDE COMPLETE PLANS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR BOTH BUILDINGS, MAIN BUILDING AND
 REAR STRUCTURE. SHOW ALL WORK: DONE AND PROPOSED.
 PROVIDE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE MAIN HOUSE AND
 ANOTHER PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE REAR BUILDING. WHEN
 ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK IS CLARIFIED, THE PERMITS WILL BE
 ISSUED AND ALL THE EXPIRED PERMITS AND PERMIT
 APPLICATIONS WILL BE PROPERLY REVOKED.
  
 THE FOLLOWING ARE COMMENTS TO THE RE-SUBMITTAL PACKAGE
 SUBMITTED ON 3/9/15:
  
  
 1- ARCHITECT OF RECORD TO SPECIFY ALTERATION LEVEL AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 401.4 OF 2010 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 NOTE: KEEP IN MIND CHANGE OF USE FROM GARAGE, STORAGE,
 LAUNDRY AND PLAY ROOM (PER CITY RECORDS MAY 29, 1957)
 TO ADDITIONAL INDEPENDENT APARTMENT AND GARAGE.
  
 ***NOTE: COMMENT WAS NOT PROPERLY ADDRESSED. ARCHITECT
 SPECIFIES "ALTERATION LEVEL 1". THIS IS NOT ALTERATION
 LEVEL 1. THIS IS A CONVERSION OF PART OF THE GARAGE
 INTO AN INDEPENDENT APARTMENT. EVEN THOUGH THE
 APARTMENT IS EXISTING. THERE ARE NO CITY PERMITS FOR
 THE CONVERSION TO APARTMENT.. PLANS ARE TO SHOW CODE
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONVERSION TO APARTMENT. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 2- CONVERSION TO ADDITIONAL DWELLING UNIT REQUIRES
 REVIEW BY THE THE PALM BEACH COUNTY FOR IMPACT FEES.
 PLEASE BRING PLANS TO PALM BEACH COUNTY (2300 N. JOG
 RD) TO VERIFY IF IMPACT FEES ARE DUE. BRING BACK COUNTY
 STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE.
 REQUIRED BY THE COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF THE
 UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE. (REPEAT COMMENT. NOT
 ADDRESSED).
  
 3- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 101.4.3 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION. (REPEAT
 COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED).
  
 4- CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION
 SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE ENERGY CODE AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 103.2.2 OF 2010 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
 COORDINATE INFORMATION WITH THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS TO
 AVOID DELAYS OR CONFLICTS. SPECIFY INSULATION IN ALL
 WALLS AND CEILING (INCLUDING EXTERIOR WALLS). (REPEAT
 COMMENT. PARTIALLY ADDRESSED. THERE IS NOT INFORMATION
 FOR THE INSULATION ON THE EXTERIOR WALL SECTIONS. ALSO,
 CLARIFY WALL TYPE LEGEND ON SHEET A-2. WHAT'S " 5/8"
 GYP. BD (BOTH SIDES) ON 2" X 4" WOOD TRUSSES @ 16" O.C.
 (U.N.O.)". SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS TO FBC. THERE
 ARE NOT WOOD TRUSSES. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 5- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 DCA RULE 9N-3 FOR THE OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR SIZE AS
 SHOWN ON PLANS. NOA 12-1204.10 SUBMITTED IS FOR 18-2"
 NOT FOR 9'-0" WIDE DOOR.
  
 6- ARCHITECT TO REVIEW AND APPROVE ABOVE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS
 TO FBC.
 NOTE: PROVIDE REVIEW STAMP ON THE FRONT OF THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL NOT ON THE BACK. STAMP ON THE BACK OF THE PAGE
 IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BECAUSE IS WILL NOT BE SCANNED FOR
 FILING PURPOSES. SEC. 107.2.1.4 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 7- PARTITION WALL TYPE 1B DETAIL ON SHEET A-2: PROVIDE
 SPECS SHOWING HOW IS THE GYPSUM BOARD ATTACHED TO THE
 BOTTOM OF THE TRUSSES. THE WAY IT'S DRAWN IT LOOKS LIKE
 IT'S SUSPENDED ON THE AIR NOT ATTACHED TO THE TRUSS.
 REVISE/CLARIFY DETAIL AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS TO FBC. (REPEAT COMMENT. DETAIL IS NOT
 CLEAR).
  
 NOTE: PLANS SUBMITTED ONLY SHOW WORK IN THE REAR
 APARTMENT BUILDING. THERE ARE NO PLANS FOR THE MAIN
 HOUSE, EXCEPT FOR THE A/C WORK. THERE ARE EXPIRED
 PERMIT APPLICATIONS DATED FEBRUARY 27, 2014 FOR WORK ON
 THE MAIN HOUSE (14021046 AND 14021045). THIS PERMITS
 WERE NEVER ISSUED. THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED
 ALSO.
