 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION,
 107.3.5 MINIMUM PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA FOR BUILDINGS. THE
 EXAMINATION OF THE DOCUMENTS BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL
 SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM CRITERIA AND
 DOCUMENTS: A FLOOR PLAN;
 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:
 107.3.5.1.1 BUILDING
 OCCUPANCY GROUP AND SPECIAL OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS
 SHALL BE DETERMINED.
 MINIMUM TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE DETERMINED (SEE
 TABLE 503).
 OCCUPANCY LOAD/EGRESS REQUIREMENTS SHALL INCLUDE:

 2) 2010 FBC-B 1016.1 DOES ALLOW FOR UNENCLOSED
 STAIRWELLS FOR 50 % OF EXITS BUT EXCEPTION # 3 ONLY
 ALLOWS THE EXIT ACCESS TRAVEL DISTANCE TO A MAXIMUM OF
 50 PERCENT OF THE EXITS IS PERMITTED TO BE MEASURED
 FROM THE MOST REMOTE POINT WITHIN A BUILDING TO AN EXIT
 USING UNENCLOSED EXIT ACCESS STAIRWAYS OR RAMPS WHEN
 CONNECTING A MAXIMUM OF TWO STORIES. THE TWO CONNECTED
 STORIES SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH AT LEAST TWO MEANS OF
 EGRESS. SUCH INTERCONNECTED STORIES SHALL NOT BE OPEN
 TO OTHER STORIES. THIS STAIR CONNECTS TO THE 3RD STORY
 A ROOF TOP ASSEMBLY FLOOR.
  
 3) NOTE THERE IS ALSO AN OPEN EXPIRED PERMIT FOR THE
 3RD STORY ROOFTOP ADDITION, NEVER ACHIEVED A
 CERTIFICATE OF OCUPANCY, PERMIT # 08060519.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL
 LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH
 A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE
 SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE
 FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR
